That's all we have from Onecricket and Cricket Exchange. The doubleheader day is back and we will have two matches tomorrow. Till then it's ta-ta and goodnight from me, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and my fellow mates Akshay Bhide and Arjun Bhalla (2nd innings).
Dwayne Bravo is the Man of the Match- I just strive to be competitive. IPL is the toughest competition in the world. Some days it works for me, some days it doesnt. But the pride and love I have for this game keeps me going.

RCB are a big side, and Virat is a very good player, so important wicket. Wanted to just keep it simple. Variations, yorkers, slower balls...just stuck to my basics. Today I bowled around the wicket and wide yorkers, leg stump yorkers. That gets the batters thinking which way the ball will go. Its all about keeping myself healthy."

MS Dhoni, CSK skipper- We were worried about the dew. Whenever there is a chance of dew we tend to bat second. They started brilliantly but it was Jadeja's spell to Padikkal which was very important and then the way the fast bowlers finished it off. Well it's always there in the back of the mind. At drinks I told Moeen to bowl after the drinks break but then changed my mind and gave it to Bravo. Well I think its the responsibility the individuals have taken.

They have understood the role. The more you delay Bravo, the more difficult it is since he will end up bowling four straight overs in these difficult conditions. Our players have worked hard, they have understood their roles and responsibilities. Over here, the three grounds are different. This is slowest (so far) of all. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are different. So the players have been adapting.

Looking at the wicket, I felt left-right combo was important. We bat deep, we have a lot of left-handers, so in the back of the head its there. And I feel all of them are good enough to play in any position. That's why we went with the left-right combination, which may have pushed Raina and Rayudu down.

Bravo has turned up fit - that's a very good thing. And he is executing well. I call him my brother. We always have fights over whether he should bowl the slower ball. But I told him that now everyone knows he bowls slower balls, so I told him to bowl six different balls in one over. Whenever he can, he takes up responsibilities."

It's time for the Post Match presentation ceremony with Murali Kartik.
Arya: Earlier in the day it was MS Dhoni who won the toss and put RCB in. The start was quite magnificent for the underdogs of IPL. Virat Kohli in particular came out with intent and played some exquisite shots to get going. Devdutt Padikkal also came into the attack smashing Shardul Thakur straight over the bowler's head for a maximum. It was a partnership of the highest order. They complimented each other brilliantly and shared a 110 runs stand before the collapse started. Jadeja bowled a brilliant spell in the middle overs which halted Padikkal and Kohli's progress which eventually brought about their downfall. ABD struck a lusty blow before failing to clear one over the ropes. From there on, wickets kept tumbling in regular intervals and RCB could only muster 156 in their allotted 20 overs.
Arya: Two wickets and RCB were right back in the game. However, Ambati Rayudu and Moeen Ali had other ideas. They started taking on the RCB bowlers and kept the required rate on the check. A 47 runs partnership got CSK close to the victory target but Moeen's dismissal of the bowling of Harshal Patel ignited the hopes of RCB.

However, it was Suresh Raina who ensured that CSK reached the target down with relative comfort in the end. MS Dhoni came in at the fall of Rayudu's wicket but by then the match was almost sealed. Raina struck a four and a six of Wanindu Hasaranga to make things easier for CSK. Eventually Raina finished it off on the first delivery of the penultimate over.
Arya: Coming back to the match, it was a perfect start for the Men in Yellow as openers Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad got them off to a flying start. CSK raced off to 58 in the powerplay and looked well in pursuit of the victory target. Both batted sensibly and struck some delightful shots in the process. Du Plessis and Gaikwad shared a 71 runs stand before Yuzvendra Chahal managed to get rid of Gaikwad. The wicket was boiled down to a sensational catch from Virat Kohli. Du Plessis followed his partner to the dressing room as the ploy to give Glenn Maxwell the ball paid off immediately.
Ruturaj Gaikwad- Obviously feeling good but not that much happy as I couldn't finish the match but happy that we won. The opening partnership is always important. But as you rightly said the new ball was coming onto the bat and made sure that we stayed there till the first 6 overs.

We (Faf) complement each other very well. The communication is crystal clear. He knows which bowler I will go and vice-versa. Try and be consistent. Make sure you contribute for your team's cause whatever the team demands.
Virat Kohli- Well I mean the wicket did slow down. We let ourselves at least 15-20 runs down. 170 would have been a winning total. We couldn't hit the areas as a bowling unit. We didn't show that much courage with the ball. They bowled nicely in the backend. Executed the yorkers perfectly. We didn't execute it too well in the final overs. We spoke of areas where he didn't wanted them to hit but couldn't quite execute.

The X factor was missing. We didn't execute the crunch moments. Those few moments which the ball goes for six or four are the ones which we failed to capitalise on. We need to get on the winning run again. The first game we were outplayed but this time it's disappointing only because we were on the top and let it slip. We have to start winning now as we know things gets out of hand too quickly in this tournament.
Arya: The pitch wasn't the easiest to bat on especially when the ball got old but the CSK batters did a commendable job to see their team over the one with nearly 2 overs to spare.
Arya: A resounding victory for the Chennai Super Kings in the end. All the top and the middle order batters chipped in as the three-time champions chase the target down with 11 deliveries to spare.
18.1 H Patel to S Raina
1 And that's the winning runs, 7th consecutive defeat for RCB in UAE. Short of a length delivery this time from Harshal Patel, Raina goes for a swipe across the leg side. Gets it clear off the infield and has enough time to roll the strike over and take his team to the victory target.
18.1 H Patel to S Raina
WD Misses the line this time. Way down the leg side and wide called. CSK just a run away from a resounding victory.
