So that's goodbye from me, Anurag, and my partner Arjun Bhalla and Akshay Bhide from the comm box. Do join us tomorrow for the IPL fixtures. Till then, Good night and take care!!

Anrich Nortje:"I try to bring energy to the team with my performance so pretty happy with that. Looking at the first game of the tournament and it was nice to see some grass, Once we hit the hard length, we saw the ball doing stuff so we stuck to that"
Anrich Nortje gets the Man of the Match award for his fantastic spell of 3/12 in 4 overs.
Rishabh Pant | Winning Captain: "Very happy for the team's performance. Happy to start this leg with the victory. He said the same thing, focus on the process and do your job. Our bowlers did a good job to restrict them on 134. Pretty happy with the team"
Rishabh Pant gets the Super Striker of the Match award for his 2 sixes.
The Perfect Catch of the Match award goes to Kane Williamson.
Shikhar Dhawan | Orange Cap holder:" Yea I enjoy wearing the orange cap and more than that I enjoy playing alongside them. Absolutely, I cautiously wait to increase the tempo, I stay watchful with a decent strike rate in the powerplay. Rabada gets us wickets quite easily and Nortje has improved as well. Absolutely enjoy being on top of the table"
Kane Williamson | Losing captain: "Obviously didn't get a good start. We needed to take wickets to defend this small total. David has had a tough campaign so far but he will certainly bounce back. It's been a difficult campaign for us too but we need to enjoy our cricket and don't put ourselves under pressure.Yea, they have fantastic balance with some world-class fast bowlers. Delhi is a fantastic side and they showed it today"

And with that, we come to the conclusion of the 33rd match of the 2021 Indian Premier League. Delhi Capitals quite comfortably chase down this minuscule total of 135 with 8 wickets and 13 balls to spare. With this victory, they move to the top spot on the points table overtaking CSK.

A horrible start but a decent end by the Sunrisers to end the innings, putting up a below-par score of 134 on the board. They crumbled at the start, losing Warner for a duck and never really recovered. Saha looked good, but didn't last for long. Williamson was scratchy and his struggle came to an end by Axar Patel after being dropped twice. Manish Pandey couldn't make his start count and so did Jason Holder. Abdul Samad played a short cameo of 28 from 21 balls and so did Rashid Khan to put up something on the board for the bowlers to defend.

The Capitals got a bright start by Shaw and Dhawan but the former fell prey to a slower one from Khaleel in just the 3rd over. The former skipper and Dhawan took matters into their hands and built a steady partnership of 52 runs against a lethal bowling attack. After the departure of Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant walked in and took the game away from the Sunrisers. The former and the current skipper together showed excellent composure on the crease and chase down the total with more than 2 overs remaining.

17.5 J Holder to S Iyer
6 HELLO BALL AND BYE BYE BALL!!!! The former skipper of DC does it in style. Finishes off the game in style and gifts his franchise an easy eight-wicket win!!! Shreyas shuffles and moves around in the leg side as he reads the slower ball well. He makes room for the shorter delivery by Holder and smokes a pull shot over wide long on. The ball goes sailing over the fence and THAT'S A MAXIMUMMMM FOR SHREYAS IYER! DC climb up to the top of the table again.
17.4 J Holder to S Iyer
0 Shorter and slower into Iyer who pulls but miscues the pull towards short square leg. No runs.
17.3 J Holder to R Pant
1 Three needed now. Pant slogs the length ball in the leg side as the ball was angling into him and he brings the ball the mid wicket fielder into the act.
17.2 J Holder to R Pant
4 OH MY LORD!!!!! Freeze that screen and pause it when the ball meets the bat!!!! OOMPH!!! Full delivery outside off stump and Pant makes the most of it! He goes deep into his crease and carves it past extra cover for a boundary.
17.1 J Holder to S Iyer
1 Arches back to a back of a length delivery that was outside off and cuts it to extra covers for one. Pant back on strike.
17.1 J Holder to S Iyer
WD Slower full and down the leg. Iyer charges down the track but gets beaten by the pace. No worries, buddy. Holder will bowl another one.

Singh: That one echoed in the park. Pant seems to be in a hurry and is just demoralizing the bowlers with his meaty blows.
16.6 K Ahmed to R Pant
6 I repeat myself!!!!!! Respect by Pant?? BIG NOOOOOO! Another back of a length delivery on the off. Pant clears his front leg and smokes it over the longer deep mid wicket boundary for a mighty blow.
16.5 K Ahmed to R Pant
4 Oh, respect? That too by Pant?? Hell no!!!! Times a pull and gets a boundary! Slower delivery on a back of a length on middle and leg stump. Pant gets inside the line and pulls it past short fine leg for a four.
16.4 K Ahmed to S Iyer
1 Back of a length at a wider line for Iyer who hangs back and steers this one down to third man. Another single for DC. They are just respecting Khaleel who is in his last over.
