What a sensational tournament this has been and what a fitting end. A humdinger of a contest and we have a brand new winner in this competition. Ta-ta and goodnight from the commentary box on the behalf of Arya Sekhar Chakraborty (me) and my fellow commentators Arjun Bhalla and Kingshuk Kusari.
Dwayne Bravo, Patriots skipper- First of all thanks almighty god to give us a chance to be champions. To my entire team and owners and most of all the fans of the St Kitts - they were our 12th man. This is for them. Belief - we gave the people opportunities.

And we backed each other. In my first session I had with Drakes, I told him he's not an emerging players, you're my main player. All the guys who came in, whether they play or not, the energy was there. I challenged myself to come here and see if I could do anything.

It was a new franchise, out of my comfort zone, coming here not knowing what to expect - I think this is in the top three for me. The Univesers Boss and The Champion in one team - one thing can happen.
Andre Fletcher, Lucia Kings captain- It's a bit hurtful but the guys played well, I cannot fault the way we played. We fought right till the end. Drakes played exceptionally well. I guess we weren't destined today. I think it came to execution - that 19th over if we had executed well, maybe tried to tuck him up, it might have been different. But that happens.

To be honest, for me, it's never over - no matter what position we're in. The two things I told the guys today was to stay calm and show humility. We did that today but unfortunately it didn't happen. [In the last over] I'll be honest, I was really confident we would defend it.

That four Drakes hit, Kesrick didn't miss the length by a lot. [Message to the fans] I know they're disappointed, we are all disappointed. Keep the faith. We're improving every season. Everyone had us as the punching bags, I'd say. But we've improved and trust me, we'll be back.

Roston Chase- Very thankful for this. My advice to youngsters is you always have more time than you think in T20s, so don't rush.

I thought camaraderie in the team was really good after such a short time, that's one thing we can take as positive. We also batted well and bowled really well in the powerplays. So those are the three things we can take.

Roston Chase is the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
Lewis- Pretty simple. Keep your shape and look at the ball till the last moment. I know I have the ability to hit the sixes and backed my ability. Getting off to a good start and hitting the sixes, these guys kept supporting me.
Evin Lewis is the winner of the Hero Maximum sixes award for the tournament. He will have a word with Ganga.
Akeal Hosein of the Trinbago Knight Riders wins the Catch of the Tournament award.
Jeavor Royal wins El dorado goodies for his unique celebrations.
Dominic Drakes- I just tried to keep my nerve and things worked in my favour. There was no run there. I think he was more nervous than me. Now I can go home and tell him I won the game. I believe he has played a big part. He was always there.

Bravo gives us a lot of confidence and tells us to go and play freely. Being clear in the back end always helps and holding your nerve is important. Also having faith in your teammates.
Dominic Drakes is the Hero of the Match for his wonderful batting effort.
Chris Gayle wins the Omega XL Hit of the Tournament.
Simon Helmot, Coach, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots - I am so proud (of the team), it has been such an unbelievable effort, to get the tournament going, in this Covid atmosphere, a lot has been done to get the tournament running (on the backroom staff who worked hard to deliver the tournament).

He's the future for West Indies cricket (on Dominic Drakes), I love watching him, he's one of the upcoming talents. We were a batsmen short today, but the way he went out and played, some of his shots and the maturity he showed, it was unbelievable.
Joshua Da Silva: Words can't describe. To see my best friend (Drakes) hit the winnings runs was fantastic.

The support we have had here has been phenomenal. He (Dwayne Bravo) is the God, can't ask for anything more, best in the business.
Dominic Drakes - I just turned the tide. I have been playing (in this tournament) for three years, but this was my first real chance this season. This isn't just for me, this is for (Dwayne) Bravo, this is for the team.

I just wanted to do it for the team, I wanted to serve the purpose (for which I was selected). I had promised to give him the jersey - Thank you father (Vasbert Drakes, the former West Indies international), this is for you.
Dominic Drakes win the Moment of the Match award for his heroic knock. Holding his nerves and sealing the deal for his team.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Daren Ganga.
Arya: It wasn't the greatest of starts for the Patriots losing the in-form openers Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis pretty early on. However it was Joshua de Silva and Sherfane Rutherford who got them back into the game with a vital partnership. de Silva scored a fluent 37 while Rutherford chipped in with 25. When Dwayne Bravo departed on the score of 95, it looked like a tall ask for the Kings.

However it was a sensational partnership between Fabian Allen and Dominic Drakes which got them right back into the game. Even after Allen's wicket, Drakes showed his composure and ensured his team reached the victory target in the final delivery of the match as he remained unbeaten on 48 of 24 deliveries which included 3 fours and 3 sixes.
Arya: Such a tight finish and that's a fitting end to a sensational tournament. Kudos to the organisers for managing to organise the tournament in the time of the pandemic and a big kudos to the groundsmen for producing exceptional wickets despite same pitches being used for back to back matches.
Dominic Drakes is the Man of the Moment having a small chat. He is a proud man and so should be his father, the former West Indies bowler Vasbert Drakes. He is running all around the park and why he shouldn't. A knock of the highest order under immense pressure.
