Milestone
Well, that's all for the coverage of this game. Do join us for the second semi-final between Guyana Amazon Warriors and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. So everyone, please switch your tabs and watch the live coverage of that game.
This is Anurag Dasgupta (just for the second innings), signing off alongside my co-commentators, Kingshuk Kusari and Arjun Bhalla.
Andre Fletcher | St Lucia Kings skipper:

"Great feeling. Last year we got to the final but couldn't get over the line. This year we wanted to get back there, prove it wasn't a fluke. Mark played very well. That set them back. I was encouraging him, saying to trust his ability.

We knew it wasn't over. Most important thing was to take the rate as high as possible before Pollard comes in. I'm humble knowing the coaching staff believe in me, and that I have the support of the players."

Kieron Pollard | TKR skipper:

"They came out positive right from the toss. Have to give them credit. They were the better team. Proud of the boys and the way they fought. Throughout the tournament the guys have been fantastic. Well played to the opposition. A lot of people around the world would've loved to see the back of us, and there you have it.

Ravi Rampaul coming back to the CPL and bowling well, Akeal Hosein bowled well for us. These things happen and we have to accept it. Will sit back and watch the final tomorrow, and may the best team win."

David Wiese | Man of the Match:

"We got tied down in the middle, with the spinners holding their way. So, we (himself and Tim David) had to go hard in the last few overs, thankfully, the bowlers lost their line a bit and we cashed in. Unbelievable (on his 5-wicket haul), sometimes it does work out.

Everyone bowled well and I got the wickets today, that's how the game goes. We tried to keep it out of his hitting zone (on Pollard), sometimes such things work out. We're enjoying it at the moment and making it to the final is a great achievement."

Hang round everyone, time for the presentation ceremony.
DG: Chasing a mammoth 206, TKR lost early wickets and never recovered from it. The wicket was a belter to bat on, but the Kings executed their plans to perfection and used the slower one's to their advantage. David Wiese looked like a man on a mission as the wily bowler used all his experience and scalped a match-winning 5 for 39 to jolt the star-studded TKR lineup.

No one really got going and the decision to promote Ramdin over the likes of Pollard and Seifert back-fired as the keeper-batsman churned out too many deliveries and piled up the pressure on the other batsmen. Pollard played an entertaining cameo of 26, but once he departed, the game was done and dusted. In the end, 206 was too big a target to chase for the defending champs, who fell short by 21 runs.

Earlier in the day, some blistering batting from Mark Deyal (78) and valuable contributions from Roston Chase (36) and David Wiese (34) helped the Kings to cross the 200-run mark, which proved to be enough on this big occasion.
DG: And with that wicket it's the end of the match. A sensational performance from the Kings who produced a masterful display with the bat earlier in the day and then came back roaring with the ball in hand. And with that scintillating victory, they have reached the finals of the Hero CPL 2021.
19.3 K Paul to A Khan
W In the air and gone! That is the end of the defending champions. Saint Lucia have done it! They have demolished the winners of the competition. Slower ball to Ali Khan on the full length. He tries to slog the ball, but does not get anything on it. The ball goes high up in the air and Mark Deyal does very well to run in from long on and grab a good catch.
19.2 K Paul to A Khan
0 Keemo Paul should be looking for the second one here. Fires the yorker into the toe. Grazes the pads of Rampaul to the keeper.

19.1 K Paul to K Pierre
W Final over. Keemo Paul to bowl and he takes wicket off the first ball. Swings hard at the slower ball. There is no pace on the ball, but Pierre does well to hit that. Very good judgement from Kadeem Alleyne on the boundary line to grab it over his head. This is his third one of the day I think. Superb display of composure there by the fielder.

18.6 D Wiese to A Khan
4 Final ball for Wiese and gets slapped for a six. Once again poor work by the converging fielders. No communication between them and no one gets under the ball in the cow corner.

Slower ball outside off once again. Khan swings at it and gets a lucky boundary.
18.5 D Wiese to A Khan
0 Hattrick ball. No change in field for Wiese. Slower yorker wide outside off. Ali Khan swings at it bus plays outside the line. Might have chopped that into the stumps any other day.

Two in two for David Weise. His second fifer of the season. ALREADY! He is on a Hattrick now, with the game in Saint Lucia's back pocket.
18.4 D Wiese to T Seifert
W On a hattrick now! Wow! Come on. Man of the match surely now. Pitched up to Seifert outside off. He hits the ball straight into the hands of cover. Sweetly struck, but does not get any elevation on it. Wiese now has 5.
