Milestone
Just two round-robin games left in the competition and three semifinal spots are still up for grabs. That is it from this comm box, this was Arjun Bhalla, Kingshuk Kusari and Karthik Raj. Do stay tuned to OneCricket and Cricket Exchange as we have two more CPL games to follow. See you all, in a while!

Jason Holder | Barbados Royals captain: Credit to Kyle and Glenn, outstanding partnership. It was a really good wicket. On this wicket, you aren't quite sure what a good total is. Lots of positives. Everybody had different spirits. It's been a good campaign for few individuals but not good collectively.

Andre Fletcher | St Lucia Kings captain: It was a very good total, 190 was over par. Kyle played really well and the dropped catch probably cost us. Unfortunately we didn't execute our plans and that's why we didn't win this game. We just hope that Guyana beat Jamaica. He (Andy Flower) thought it was a good fight in spite of the defeat.
Kyle Mayers | Man of the Match: It came together great from the get-go. I got the opportunity to bowl early up in the innings and then also towards the end. I really enjoyed bowling, finished well and took the momentum into batting. It was a great partnership, great understanding between me and Glenn, we read the game well. We knew that we would get the boundaries, so we just stuck to our plans. We wanted to finish the game with an over to spare and we did. I think that (loft downtown) was one of the best shots I played in the innings but I would choose the reverse sweep. I would choose that shot over the rest. I have been working hard and it paid off.
End of the match, end of the campaign of Barbados Royals. The Jason Holder led team end the season with a dominating win. In the end, they have been able to provide a blazing win as they owed that to their fans and sponsors.

They had a target of 191 runs to chase, which was "nigh on impossible", but the partnership between Kyle Mayers and Glenn Phillips proved all predications wrong. The duo stemmed an unbelievable stand of 154 runs, where they pumped boundaries on will.

Having said that, it was an awful captaincy by the Kings' stand-in skipper, Andre Fletcher who had messed up plans in the chase. The Spiceman's bowling changes, field placement and tactical skills was less than ordinary.

For instance, Jeavor Royal who bowled two overs - lending just 3 runs - inside the Powerplay, didn't get the opportunity against two left-handers, outside the Powerplay.

Instead of the left-arm spinner, Fletcher kept on using the off-spin of Chase and part-time spin of Deyal. It is said that off-break bowling is more efficient against the southpaws, but St Lucia lacked on out of box thinking. Apart from the spinners, the fast bowlers were too taken to the attack.

David Weise and Alzarri Joseph leaked runs at 13 RPO, while Wahab Riaz's economy was 9. The planning by the seamers was also piteous as their lines were wider of the off stump, and the lengths were on the shorter side. All in all, both captains were tactically inadequate, but Fletcher outclassed Holder in bizarre decision-making and gifted the game to his counter-part.
18.5 A Joseph to G Phillips
1 Full toss, Phillips drives it to the sweeper for a single. That is it, Barbados Royals wrap up a dominant eight wicket victory with eight balls to spare
18.4 A Joseph to G Phillips
6 Full-toss, Phillips launches it just over the long-on fielder. SIX!! Scores are LEVEL now!!!
18.3 A Joseph to G Phillips
6 SIX MORE!! Short and wide, Phillips frees his arms and slashes it over deep backward point for a maximum
18.2 A Joseph to G Phillips
0 Yorker wide of off, Phillips can't get bat on ball
18.1 A Joseph to G Phillips
6 Yorker just missed, Phillips gets underneath and lofts it over long-off for a maximum. SIX!!
End of the spell for Wahab. Joseph has leaked runs at 10 RPO, Weise has given at 13. It is going to interesting, how these two fast bowlers manage to defend 19 runs in the last two overs.
