Milestone
So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators, Kingshuk Kusari and Anurag Dasgupta. Do stay tuned to OneCricket's coverage of a lot more matches
Faf du Plessis: Difficult to say with these things, probably have to go for a scan. Not looking too good for tomorrow. Great win. The toss was massive. To get to 170 or so on a wicket like that was a very good score. Three wickets in one over was pretty much game done. He's very experienced with his tricks with the ball (Wiese). Counting on NRR and stuff like that. Make sure you look after tomorrow and carry that momentum into the semifinals.
Jason Holder: Still gettable on this wicket. That three wickets in one over cost us. Struggled for runs. Just a case where batters didn't put their hands up.
David Wiese: Sometimes it just works for you. Luckily it went to the fielders today and the pitch helped my type of bowling. There was a bit of variable bounce and I used my height and cross-seam deliveries. The rain wet the wicket and it gripped more because of that. It is awesome to be out here and glad to contribute to the team.
David Wiese has been named as the 'Man of the Match' for contributing 17 runs and five wickets
That is it, St Lucia Kings wrap up a 14-run win even though Hayden Walsh came up with some big hits in the end. Chasing 176 for victory, Barbados Royals lost an early wicket as Kyle Mayers chipped an easy catch to Alzarri Joseph at long-on off Jeavor Royals' bowling. The duo of Johnson Charles and Shai Hope still showed a lot of intent and helped the side finish the Powerplay with 56-1 on the board.

However, the game turned on its head when David Wiese dismissed the trio of Charles, Hope and Glenn Phillips in the ninth over. Thisara Perera also didn't last for long as he became Alzarri Joseph's first victim in the 11th over. After being reduced to 79-5, skipper Jason Holder provided some hope with his 34-run knock but he didn't get enough support at the other end. Holder was eventually dismissed by Wiese and soon the game was interrupted due to rain. After almost a hour-long break, play resumed and Hayden Walsh came up with some nice hits over the fence. Walsh made the scenario interesting especially when he smashed 16 runs off Wahab Riaz's bowling in the 18th over.

This meant that Barbados required 22 runs off the last six balls but Wiese held his nerve and wrapped up the match by dismissing Walsh for his fifth wicket.

18.6 D Wiese to J Bishop
0 Final ball. Lovely wide yorker once again. He finishes off at 4-0-25-5. St Lucia win this with 14 runs to spare via the D/L method. Karthik does well and gets his prediction right. Barbados fight, but not fiercely enough to win this contest.
18.5 D Wiese to Lintott
1 Inside edge on the slog. Gets off the mark.
18.4 D Wiese to Lintott
0 Englishman comes on with three balls remaining. Bowls full outside off to Lintott. He cannot get the shot away.

18.3 D Wiese to H Walsh
W Edged and gone! This is a brilliant brilliant match. 5 wickets for David Wiese. Full and wide, Walsh makes room and slogs at it. He gets a very thick edge on the ball and it goes to Wahab at short third man. He gets down and grabs a low chance to his forward right.
18.2 D Wiese to H Walsh
4 Four! Lucky! But he deserves that. Back of the length outside off. Walsh goes after it and top edges the ball over short third man for four.
18.2 D Wiese to H Walsh
WD Wiese does not want to fall into the arc of the batsman. Goes wide and will have to reload that.
18.1 D Wiese to J Bishop
1 Bishop against the wily Wiese. Goes hard at the ball and almost picks the extra cover gap. Alzarri Joseph does well to run and get to the ball. Bishop doing well there. Plays it uppishly and gets the strike to Walsh Jr.
Karthik: I did know that Hayden Walsh had some batting ability but never knew he could produce big hits like these
Hello, game on here! Walsh Jr with some tremendous power-hitting has pulled things back for the Royals. They still need 22 off 6 deliveries. Can the unthinkable happen??
