Finally, the Perth Scorchers Women get their hands on the glittering trophy.
Amanda-Jade-Wellington is the leading wicket-taker of the WBBL season 07 as she picked up 23 wickets in 17 matches.
Beth Mooney is the highest run-getter of the WBBL season 07 as she scored 547 runs from 14 innings.
Marizanne Kapp is the player of the Wbbl season 07 Final.
Perth Scorchers gets their Maiden WBBL Title in their Seventh attempt.
To defend the 147 against the strong batting lineup of Adelaide strikers wasn't an easy task but Scorchers did that absolutely brilliant as they hold the grip on the game throughout.
Strikers started off pretty slow as the pressure goes on building and both the openers lost their wickets inside the powerplay on the score of 12. then after the duo of Wolvaardt and McGrath put on the partnership of 65 runs for the third wicket and they were marching on pretty well but McGrath lost her wicket to Peschel then Graham Got the important wicket of Wolvaardt. Then after there was something special that was needed to take the Strikers home but the rest of the batters were dismissed in very quick succession. Apart from Penna who scored 30 runs from 21 balls.
With the ball, Graham and Peschel picked up a couple of wickets for the Scorchers and the Experienced duo of Devine and Kapp also picked up a wicket each so it was a brilliant All-around performance by the Scorchers.
Perth Scorchers are the champions of WBBL Season 07. They top the table in the league phase and they end up winning the tournament also and the crowd here at Perth is absolutely thrilled as their home team gets their hands on that beautiful trophy.
