So that's goodbye from Arjun Bhalla and Kingshuk Kusari from the comm box. Do join us for the remainder of the CPL fixtures and for the all the cricketing action, played across the globe! Goodbye and take care!!
Jason Holder | Winning captain: Credit to the guys, it was a complete game, asked the batsmen to do well and they did so. When things don't go well, it's hard on us, they'll be changes and chopping in the playing XI, but we did give the guys a fair opportunity. The openers gave us a good start and we had the momentum with us. We just need to keep winning games.
Nicholas Pooran | Losing captain: I'm not surprised, the wicket played well tonight, we backed ourselves to chase it down, it was a bit tricky. They came out positively and I thought we didn't utilize the conditions well in the first 7-8 overs. I'm backing the batsmen 100%, we'll peak at the right time - we have some real quality in this line-up, and believe they will do the job for us. In hindsight, we could have played an extra pacer, I think we got it wrong there.
Kyle Mayers | Player of the Match: It was a good partnership at the top, we wanted to go into the match with a positive intent, wanted to take the attack to the bowlers and it paid off. There was no pressure on me as an opener, I could play with freedom in the PP. I thought the guys played well, the bowling was good and we used the conditions to our advantage. It's a must-win situation for us, but we do have some world-class players. Momentum is important, it's good for us and we'll take the positives going into the next match.
Kyle Mayers gets Player of the Match award.

Right then. A huge victory for Barbados Royals by 45 runs. Jason Holder’s men have nailed a comprehensive win, after getting thrashed by Guyana Amazon Warriors in the last fixture.

It was a complete team effort, if we take some fielding efforts out of the context. All the Royal batters played vital parts in the first innings. But it wasn’t a one-player effort as all of them helped the team to step up.

After notching 185 runs, the bowlers defended the total with some class. They bagged wickets on regular intervals and never allowed Guyana to breathe in the second innings. An explosive line-up like the Warriors were always under the pump.

Amir made King nick off in the first over, then Holder deceived Hemraj to get him on a slower one, before Reifer picked Hetmyer, to leave the batting side on 31 for 3 inside the Powerplay. Pooran came out to slog the ball across the park, but he played one too many and was undone by Lintott. The middle and lower middle-order was cleaned by Nyeen Young.

Odeon Smith, then, used his long handle to create some artificial excitement. To be fair, he struck the ball clean in his knock of 43 where he smoked four maximums and two boundaries, to make the Royal bowlers sweat hard to clean up the tails. In the end, Motie became Reifer’s prey and Smith became the last wicket to fall.

Despite this win, Barbados Royals are still languishing at the bottom, but they have shown the spark to play in the last three matches.

17.2 N Young to O Smith
W That is done for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. Short ball. Odean Smith smashes the tennis shot but finds Chris Green at midwicket who completes a low catch. The fielder is a little embarrassed with himself as it seemed like he almost let it slip.
17.1 N Young to O Smith
4 Slapped through extra cover for four. Full and wide, Smith does not miss out on this one.

16.6 R Reifer to G Motie
W Finally! Into the wickets this time and it is timbers for Reifer. He gets his second and will be happy with what he has done in this over. Length ball, hits Motie as he tries to make room on the backpad and the ball ricochets into the stumps.
16.5 R Reifer to G Motie
2 Keeps over the wicket to the left hander as well and Motie swings hard against the slower ball. Lofts the ball between fine leg and backward square leg. Phillips runs in and puts in a very good stop to save two runs.
16.4 R Reifer to O Smith
1 Connects the full toss going down the tramline. One bounce to long off.
16.3 R Reifer to O Smith
0 Full and wide agian. Beats the flailing bat of Smith.
16.3 R Reifer to O Smith
WD Big wide. Very much wide of the tramline. The only possible logic behind bowling these ones would be to get some practice in a real match situation.
16.2 R Reifer to O Smith
4 Edged and over the keeper for four. Falters in length and bowls in the good length territory. Smith goes hard at the ball and a thick outside edge flies over short third man for four.
16.1 R Reifer to O Smith
0 Bowling change now. All Barbados bowlers bowling defensive here. Pushes one full and wide from over the wicket. Smith cannto get to it.
