Turner gets the BBL trophy and the celebrations begin!!! Scorchers have done it for the fourth time. With that, we are done with the coverage of this amazing tournament. It was a pleasure bringing you all the live updates for the past 2 months. This is me, Anurag Dasgupta signing off alongside my co-commentators, Arjun Bhalla, Anurag Singh and our scorer, Vishnu Verma.
Ashton Turner | "Perth Scorchers captain: I think any captain would stand here and talk about the obstacles we have faced. The Sixers have been the best side for the past two years and have taught us how to play on these wickets. Well done for your performance throughout the season.

Couldn't be more proud of the boys. Our families and support staff have been really good. We are fortunate to have been done with the tournament."
Perth Scorchers team members receive their medals.
Moises Henriques | Losing captain: "It seems like we do this quite often. Perth was too good tonight and throughout the competition. We are still proud of each other. We had a great season considering the challenges we faced. I also want to thank everyone on the ground. Congratulations to Perth Scorchers, they have been the best team this year."
Laurie Evans | Player of the Match: "These guys deserved it, they have sacrificed a lot. being away from home was a tough ask. I am glad we got over the line today."
Peter Hatzoglou: It is amazing to win. The Scorchers are an amazing team. We have won four titles now. Hopefully, we win next year as well. It's an amazing feeling to be a part of this team
Jhye Richardson - I only played two games. It's always great to win games - special mention to the likes of Kells and Lance. They've been special all year.

Scorchers have done it!! They have regained the crown and are the new Big Bash League champions. Smiling faces all around and this has been a terrific campaign for the team from Perth. An exceptional season that has culminated with a massive 79 run victory in this grand finale. Led by an energetic leader in Ashton Turner, Perth Scorchers have won the Big Bash League for the fourth time in their history. They are gonna celebrate well tonight.

Chasing a stiff target of 171 in the finals, Sydney Sixers crumbled inside the first 6-overs and were never really in the picture. They lost wickets at regular intervals and by the time the power-play ended, Sixers were 3 for 46. The star from the previous game, Hayden Kerr failed to get going and nobody took the responsibility to take matters into their own hands.

Daniel Hughes was the lone warrior for the Sixers and while he was out in the middle, there were few nervous faces in the Scorchers’ dugout. The southpaw hardly got support from the other end and was dismissed in the 40's trying to up the ante.

With his dismissal, Scorchers found a new groove and they ran through Sixers’ middle and lower order with utmost ease. In the end, Sydney Sixers were bundled out for 92 and will be disappointed with how things panned out for them. They had things under control in the first innings, but they simply failed to capitalize on it. This was a one-sided final and Scorchers are the deserving winners.

Scorchers won the finals by 79 runs.
16.2 J Richardson to S O'Keefe
W OUTT!! That is full, quick and straight as an arrow. Richardson half celebrates and half appeals as the umpire raises his finger. Scorchers win their 4th title by a massive margin of 79 runs. O'Keefe is stuck in the crease as he fails to keep this one out. The ball raps him on the front pads dead in front of the stumps.
16.1 J Richardson to J Lenton
1 Attemps the yorker down the leg, Lenton makes room and digs it to the mid wicket region for one.
