So it's a good bye for now. This was AkshayaKrishna Polya who along with Ninad Dixit and Arijit gave you all the live actions from this match. Keep tuned in on Onecricket and Cricket Exchange for rest of the matches in the BBL and all over the world. We will meet in the next game. Until then, it's Cheers...!
Ben McDermott |Player of the match|: "I'm not quite sure, I'll keep rolling this way. It was a bit tricky in the first up. We lost a couple of wickets and I had to build the ship a little. And then, play my natural aggressive game.yeah, that's what we play the game for to have some fun. Hopefully, we are building up nicely, ,maybe in the 2nd, maybe not, don't know. Hopefully, we keep going this way."
That's it. Renegades were skittled out for 121 in their chase of 207. The Hurricanes won it by a massive margin of 85 runs. Renegades will remain at the last position with this huge loss which also dented their Net Run Rate. With that win Hurricanes move up a spot with 17 points from seven matches.

The chase was not really on as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Finch and co lost their cool while chasing this huge target and played reckless shots. Harper was at his best before he was run out trying to take an unnecessary third. He ended up at 57(35) with three sixes and four fours. Jake Fraser assisted Harper amidst these chaos. He scored 21 runs. Once Harper was run out then the rest of the wickets tumbled for just 19 runs. They were bundled out for 121 in just 15.5 overs.

Thomas Rogers was impressive with his fiery spells upfront and ended up taking 3 wickets for 24 runs in his three overs. Sandeep Lamichhane too got three wickets. Couple of run outs too aided Hurricanes in their massive victory over Renegades.

Earlier today the Renegades won the toss and put Hurricanes in. The Hurricanes lost early wickets with Wade going for a third ball duck to Reece Topley. Following him was D’Arcy Short and Harry Brook. They were 52/3 at one stage but then it was all Ben McDermott. He along with Peter Handscomb steadied the ship to start with and as the innings progressed McDermott was hitting it all around the Marvel Stadium. Handscomb anchored the partnership of 115 runs for the fourth wicket as he scored 24(20). McDermott smashed his second century for this season and made a record for himself as he becomes the first player in the BBL history to score back to back centuries. He sacrificed his wicket in the last ball of the 20th over as he tried to sneak a bye. His innings consisted of nine sixes and nine fours. He scored 127 off 65 balls before he got out. In the last few overs it was Tim David who teed off with four sixes and fired in an unbeaten cameo of 30 runs in just 9 balls. Due to which they easily crossed the 200 run mark and set a mammoth target of 207 runs for the grappling Renegades.

Talking about bowling other than Reece Topley no one was justifying their captain’s decision to bowl first. His figures read 4-0-17-2. Kane Richardson was too expensive as ended up conceding 63 runs in his four overs. Zahir Khan and Prestwidge were gone for 12  an over in their three overs each.
15.5 S Lamichhane to Z Khan
W And it's all over. Flatter delivery, a wrong un on good length outside the off stump, Zahir comes dancing down the pitch but fails to get anywhere near the ball, easiest of stumpings for the experienced Matthew Wade and the Hurricanes win by 85 runs.
15.4 S Lamichhane to Z Khan
2 High up in the air but safe! Brilliant effort from Nathan Ellis. Flighted delivery, full and on the leg stump. Zahir slog sweeps towards the gap between deep square and deep mid wicket, Ellis comes in running from deep mid wicket towards the ball and puts in a brilliant dive but fails to catch the ball.
15.3 S Lamichhane to R Topley
1 Another flighted delivery, worked away towards mid wicket for another single.
15.2 S Lamichhane to R Topley
0 Tossed up on the off stump, smashed away strongly towards extra cover for a single.
15.1 S Lamichhane to R Topley
4 Over the wicket, short delivery on the off stump, a straighter one. Topley rocks back and pulls away towards the gap between deep square and deep mid wicket. The latter chases the ball towards his right as Topley calls for two runs but misses to grab a hold of the ball. Welcome boundary but too late for the Renegades.

0 Just a single off the over, misses the leg stump again! Wade and Ellis are shocked over how the ball missed the leg stump! Slower delivery, 107.6kph, full and just outside the line of the leg stump, Zahir was expecting a quicker delivery and shuffled outside the leg stump again.
14.5 N Ellis to Z Khan
0 Just misses the leg stump by a whisker! 136.3kph, length delivery just outside the leg stump, Zahir makes some room by shuffling down the leg stump but misses.
14.4 N Ellis to Z Khan
0 Tries to go big over fine leg but misses due to the lack of pace. 110.8kph, length delivery on the stump line. Zahir goes down on one knee and tries to play the lap shot over fine leg, misses.
14.3 N Ellis to Z Khan
0 Attempted yorker on middle and leg, Zahir digs it out but straight to the cover fielder on the bounce. It was  quicker delivery from Ellis, well played by Zahir.
14.2 N Ellis to Z Khan
0 Another slower one. Good length and wide of the off stump, 109.7kph. Zahir makes some room and tries to cut towards deep third man but misses out.
14.1 N Ellis to R Topley
1 Nathan Ellis comes in from over the wicket. Bowls full, slower and straight on middle. Topley makes some room outside the leg stump and flashes hard towards wide long off. The ball falls just short of the fielder.
Over to Ninad for the last few overs.
