Milestone
So that's that, and we'll soon be back with more cricketing action and live coverage! Until then, do take really good care of yourselves, as we'll be seeing you soon!

So itโ€™s the Perth Scorchers that secure a win by 21, which now makes it five wins out of five for them.

Batting first, the Scorchers posted a mammoth total of 206/6 in 20 overs.

James Pattinson got Josh Inglis out early for 2 (4), but Cameron Bancroft and Mitchell Marsh did show resilience with a 62 run stand in the next seven overs. Bancroft added 24 (21) before getting dismissed to Will Sutherland. Colin Munro played a brief cameo of 20 (17) at number four as he was then bowled by Kane Richardson.

Ashton Turner stormed his way to 20 (11), whereas Laurie Evans unbeaten 42* (16), got the Scorchers to a dominant target. However, it was none other than Mitch Marsh who topped the charts yet again with his scintillating knock of 86 (53). The star all-rounder struck five fours and five sixes while batting with a strike rate of 162.26. Knowing that the wicket was a belter for the batsmen, Mitch Marsh and co. ensured that their bowlers get the perfect platform.

Kane Richardson was the rare standout with the ball for the Melbourne Renegades with his spell of 3/33 in four overs.

As for the run chase, Mackenzi Harve was bowled by a peach on the second ball of the innings by Jason Behrendorff. But it was then the Aaron Finch-Nic Maddinson show as the duo struck a quickfire 130 run stand in 13 overs. The skipper Maddinson scored 67 (41) with eight fours, and three sixes before Mitchell Marsh chipped in by getting him caught behind.

Aaron Finch's sublime knock 68 (43) with four fours and five sixes also soon came to an end with Ashton Agar getting him out caught. The momentum seemed to have gone down the drain as soon as both set batsmen departed. Mohammad Nabi was out for a golden duck by Agar. Jake Fraser did put in a show right towards the end with his 30 (24), but the Renegades could eventually get to 185/5 in 20 overs.

Ashton Agar did well with his spell of 2/23 in three overs, whereas, Behrendorff, Marsh and Hatzoglu also contributed with a wicket apiece.

POTM - Mitch Marsh: "Great win, good innings by Finchy for the Renegades, I thought anything post 180 was par. It's been great fun for me personally, have been sticking to my process, love playing for the Scorchers. Getting Maddinson's wicket was an important one, hadn't we got him dismissed, there was a possibility of us losing the game, but on we move, and it's five wins out of five"
Mitchell Marsh is the player of the match.
