Right then, it's time to shift gears and move to  West Indies vs Pakistan t20 coverage shortly. I hope you've enjoyed this coverage from onecricket and cricket exchange. See you on the other side soon. Thereby, signing off, Arijit Kundu alongside fellow commentators, Anurag Singh and Wali.
Tymal Mills(after the match): "It was great fun to be back and get some wickets after the T10.I've been bowling pretty well all year, really going back to the Hundred. Yeah, I missed out in the World Cup with injury. I don't think I bowled at my best when I was with the Hurricanes a few years back. So it's nice to put that right a bit. we've got a strong squad and we can do well. I wont be able to play the next game as I'm not allowed in Western Australia. I will play the games which I can."
Mitch Marsh(Player of the match): "We lost a few wickets in the early part of the innings. I think the way Laurie Evans batted was really well.  I'm not walking in and trying to get off the mark with a boundary. I am sure if I prepare, I can take the ball away from ball one. I've worked really hard n the last six months and hopefully Ican do more for the Scorchers. I'm working hard on my bowling and want to be available whenever I can. I love the place Blundstone. It's my favorite trip. I love Hobart and Tasmania too." It was really great fun at the end. Its great to come out and contribute for the team at the moment."
Arriving for the chase of 183 runs, the Hurricanes lost a couple of early wickets. Skipper Mathew Wade was dismissed right in the first over and Caleb Jewel too followed him soon. D'Arcy Short and Ben McDermott started off the rebuilding phase slowly and looked to hunt for the boundaries gradually. McDermott took the big risks and got out for 41 off 29 balls later on.

The good thing is this pair managed to get past the required total for the bash boost points. But just after the drinks break, Tymal Mills wreaked havoc in the middle and lower-middle order of the Hurricanes batting line-up with the supports from Peter Hatzoglou and veteran AJ Tye.  The wicket of D'Arcy Short came as a nail in the coffin after Ashton Agar trapped him by offering a false shot down square of the wicket.

The lower order couldn't do anything special and was soon victimized to a collapse. 129 is the score that the Hurricanes could manage with all their wickets being shattered. All the bowlers used made to the column of the wicket takers. Tymal Mills was the pick of them with a three-for. He gave away just 23 runs from his full quota. AJ Tye and Ashton Agar bagged two wickets each, and HAtzoglou, Turner and Behrendorff scalped a piece each.
Earlier in the game, the Perth Scorchers won the toss and opted to bat first. They lost a couple of early wickets in the form of Colin Munro who went of none, Kurtis Patterson and wicketkeeper-batter, Josh Inglis.
The Scorchers could gallop only 34 runs within the mandate powerplay and lost two of their crucial openers. Mitch Marsh was the one who played the anchor's role then and kept the scoreboard ticking. He was accompanied for a while by Ashton Agar and later by Laurie Evans. Both Evans and Marsh changed the gears after the 13th over And the latter tore apart  the bowlers in style.
Although Evans got dismissed for 40,  Mitch Marsh raced toward his first century of the season.  He amassed an unbeaten 100 from 60 deliveries with 6 fours and 5 sixes and assisted the Scorchers to propel the scoreboard to 182.
Three ticks in the boxes of all three departments and the Scorchers get the edge over Mathew Wade and his boys by some 53 runs. The Hurricanes seemed nowhere near the chase after the drinks break and couldn't really capitalize on the rebuilding work done by D'Arcy Short and Ben McDermott. It was a unified work done by the bowlers of the Perth Scorchers. Tymal Mills was the spearhead in breaking the backbone of the Hurricanes.
