Alana King is the player of the match!
"It was one of the best games one will ever see and I am happy that I was a part of it and ended up winning the game."
One of the greatest T20 matches one will ever witness! What a fightback and a turn around from Perth Scorchers! From 50 off 60 balls to 12 off 6, how did Brisbane Heat find themselves in this position?

Lily Mills kept her calm in the final over of the match as the match was tied and was decided in the super over!

Brisbane Heat won the toss and put Scorchers in to bat and restricted them to 137 for 7, a below par total on this surface. Wicketkeeper opener Beth Mooney top scored with 40 off 37 and was well supported by Chloe Piparo down the order with an unbeaten 20 off 14.

Jess Jonassen was the pick of the bowlers as she bowled a brilliant spell of 3-16 in four overs and chipped in with wickets at crucial junctures. Debutant Poonam Yadav chipped in with 2-25 in her 3 overs.

Brisbane Heat started their chase well and were 88-2 at the halfway stage, needing 50 off the last ten overs, but poor shot selection and throwing away wickets unnecessarily cost them the game as they required 12 off the final over. Nadine de Klerk tried her best to score the required runs in the final over but her effort wasn't enough to take Heat through the line.

Heading into the super over, Anneke Bosch came in after Grace Harris' departure and hit two boundaries against the experienced Marizanne Kapp to score 12 off the super over.

In response, Jess Jonassen couldn't reproduce her magical performance from the first innings as she started with a poor delivery, a waist height full toss, smoked away for six by Sophie Devine (13* off 3 in the super over).
0.4 J Jonassen to S Devine
6 Brilliant strike from Devine and it might have just cleared the rope. Yes, it has and Devine has finished the game in style. Dances down the track to the flighted delivery and tonks it straight back over Jonassen's head. It lands directly on the rope and a six has been signaled. What a game we witnessed and the Scorchers win the super over.
0.3 J Jonassen to B Mooney
1 Good length delivery outside the leg stump, Mooney gets behind the line of the ball and comes down the pitch to play it across the line towards deep mid wicket for a single!
0.2 J Jonassen to S Devine
1 Better delivery, fuller on the off stump, driven down the ground towards long off for a single.
0.1 J Jonassen to S Devine
6 It's a rare poor delivery from Jonassen! Full toss over the waist height, Devine smashes this down the ground over long off for a maximum first ball!

Akshay: Excellent effort from Heat as they score 12 runs in the Super Over. Kapp didn't bowl good lengths and was taken for runs. It will be interesting to see who opens the batting for Scorchers.
Don't go anywhere as we are up for an exciting finish.

0.6 M Kapp to A Bosch
W Short delivery, Bosch pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs. However, Bosch is struggling on the second run and Beth Mooney completes an easy run-out. Brisbane Heat finish with 12-2. So, Perth Scorchers need 13 to win the game
0.5 M Kapp to A Bosch
4 FOUR MORE!! Bosch moves to the leg-side but Kapp follows her with a superb short ball. Somehow, Bosch still pulls it fine past Beth Mooney for a boundary
0.4 M Kapp to A Bosch
2 Short outside-off, Bosch slaps it to long-on for a couple of runs
0.3 M Kapp to A Bosch
4 Short delivery, Bosch pulls it in front of square for a boundary. FOUR!! What a shot!!
