Milestone
That's it from this exciting contest between Sixers and Hurricanes, do join us for the ongoing clash between the Scorchers and Heats. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentators Arijit Kundu and Rishabh Gandhi. Until then stay safe and stay cool....
Moises Henriques is the player of the match for his brilliant innings of 73 runs from 48 balls:
"I had to rebuild with wickets falling around me. That allowed me to set some sort of platform. Wanted to capitalise on their bad bowling. Didn't want to take risk of their better balls early and try to come home late. Used the surge to take a platform into the death overs. Curran also put their bowlers under pressure which was an important partnership. I love training, and I love trying to get better. I'm always trying to work on new things and tinkering to certain things. I'm obviously closer to the end of my career than the start but I like to master whatever I do. I feel people use momentum instead of confidence. When people are full of confidence and in a good space, that's what people call momentum. I just try to keep us all engaged and encourage them that every moment is a moment to get better from."
And that's the end of the match here and Sydney Sixers gets a win by 14 runs against Hobart Hurricanes. Brilliant death bowling from the English duo of Jordan and Curran sealed the deal for the Sixers. 144 looked below par on this wicket but Sixers bowling unit bowled in the right areas and on the right line and lengths to make a match out of it.

Hurricanes started off pretty slow as both the openers Wade and D'Arcy Short were unable to middle the ball and the pressure was keep on building them and while trying to accelerate the innings both of them lost the wickets in quick succession.

Then Jewell and Handscomb put on a handy partnership of 30 runs but soon after Jewell lost his wicket on the score of 20 and he was deceived by the slower ball from Jordan. Lammonby and Tim David also lost their wickets in quick succession. Then Handscomb played some crispy shots at the back end as he tried his beat until the end but can't take his team over the finishing line.

Chris Jordan bowled the penultimate 19th over and only gave 3 runs in that over. While 20 needing from the last over Tom Curran bowled brilliant Yorkers to seal the things for the Sixers.

Hayden Kerr and Manenti were economical with the ball as Kerr picked up a couple of wickets and Manenti also got a wicket here. So overall brilliant bowling performance from the Sixers sealed the game for them.
