So that's all from our side in today's game. Do join us for a very important midweek day tomorrow as India take on England at Trent Bridge, Australia look to shake off a horrible defeat against Bangladesh and of course for our coverage of the two exciting short format tournaments in the form of the TNPL and The Hundred. This is me, Kingshuk Kusari, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arjun Bhalla. Good night.
This game gives Nellai a much needed breath of fresh air and they now have two wins and have taken a step forward to drag them out of the bottom half of the table. Hopefully, this game is just a blip for Dindigul Dragons who still remain at the top half of the table, but will surely be shaken by tonight's performance. They have now lost two in a row and face Tiruppur Tamizhans on 7th in their next game.
Baba Aparajith: Very important for the captain to score runs in this kind of matches. It is a very important win for us, but we want to take this one game at a time. There are of course some areas to improve, but I think we won all the tight chances in the match.
Baba Aparajith, the Nellai captain has been awarded the man of the match for his anchoring innings in the second half of the game.
Every time Dindigul looked a little in control, loose balls from the bowlers took the game away from them. Four wides here and 2 byes there, Dindigul kept offering Nellai chances to put a foothold in the game. Worst of the lot probably came in the 16th over, where an under pressure Sanjay Yadav was offered two slot balls for him to swing his long levers. Sanjay Yadav did not only bat well in the night, he in fact bowled a maiden first over in the first innings, the only one in tonight's game. He takes away several awards today.
Captain Hari Nishaanth accepts the result in the post match interview and says that they know that they should have done much much better. He states that it was a bad day in the office for them, and they would try to get back stronger.
Dindigul dragons have lost the game by 5 wickets tonight, but they will be ruing themselves for the manner they have let loose the control of the game tonight. Looked like a decent score at the end of the first innings but a very poor second effort took the game away from them.
Misfield there at wide of long-on. Four runs for Baba Indrajith. And the game for Nellai Royal Kings.
18.5 G Singh to B Indrajith
4 And that seals the deal. Poor piece of fielding at wide long-on and it trickles down to the boundary ropes. Back of a length delivery outside off and Indrajith clubs that away down the long-on region and the fielder makes a meal of time. Gets a hand as it squeezes under him off to the ropes.
18.5 G Singh to B Indrajith
WD Attempts another slower, a bit too wide outside off and he has to reload that. Misses his line on this occasion, just 4 runs away for a win.
18.4 G Singh to J Kumar
1 Back of a length slightly leg sidish and Kumar clips that away off his backfoot down deep square leg for a single.
18.3 G Singh to J Kumar
0 Short of a length again outside off and it again bounces steeply. Beats Kumar on the outside. Beaten by the pace and bounce.
18.2 G Singh to J Kumar
0 Short of a length again from the left-arm pacer. Hurries onto Kumar and he manages to play that away back to the bowler off the backfoot.
18.1 G Singh to B Indrajith
1 Slower back of a length delivery to start the over. Indrajith works it away with soft hands off the backfoot down the square leg region for a single.

Rangaraj Suthesh
2-34(4.0)
17.6 R Suthesh to Murthy
W That's beautifully timed to be honest but finds the fielder at deep third man. Short of a length delivery outside off, Murthy jumps off his feet and plays the upper cut to perfection. Times it well but it carries straight down the throat of the fielder.
17.5 R Suthesh to Murthy
0 Short of a length delivery from Suthesh. Marthy works that away down the point fielder off the backfoot.
17.4 R Suthesh to B Indrajith
1 Full paced fullish length delivery outside off and Indrajith flays that away down the deep cover fielder and rotates the strike.
