Milestone
That brings us to the end of our coverage for today. Finally, we had a full match in the TNPL. Till tomorrow, it's ta-ta and a good night from Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and my commentators Kingshuk Kusari and Akshay Bhide.
Arya: The run chase never managed to take off as wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals right from the word go. Sunil Sam and Saravan Kumar rocked the Nellai Royal Kings early on bagging two wickets each as they were reduced to 12/5. With the rain around the corner, it was a good counterattack from Baba Indrajith and Sanjay Yadav as they stitched together a vital partnership helping their team claw it's way back into the match. The wickets of Yadav and Indrajith was the final nail in the coffin. Young left-arm spinner M Mathivaanan was given the last over of the match and he bagged three wickets in just four deliveries to finish it off.
Arya: It was a day to remember for the Ruby Trichy Warriors as they thumped Nellai Royal Kings by 74 runs. After struggling with the bat in the first few overs, it was a sensational knock from Amit Sathvick which helped them post a competitive score of 151 in their allotted 20 overs. Sathvick remained unbeaten on 71 of 52 deliveries with Aditya Ganesh and Antony Das also chipping in with crucial 30 odds. Sharun Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for Nellai Royal Kings finishing with a couple.
Rahil Shah, skipper of the winning team- He (Amit) is a young lad with a lot of confidence and natural talent and we just told him to go there and enjoy. It was a complete performance from the team.
Amit Sathvik is the Player of the Match for his 52-ball 71.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
13.4 M M to Davidson
W That's the end of the game. A flatter faster delivery from the left-arm spinner. Zips through the surface and Davidson is way too late into the shot and is struck plumb in front. Very easy decision for the umpire and what a thumping victory for Ruby Trichy Warriors.
13.3 M M to Kumar
W One more for MM, a flighted one on the stumps and Kumar lunges forward and tries to defend and is struck right in front. Is beaten on the flight and it strikes him on the pads very adjacent to the stumps. The umpire rules it in favour of the bowling team.
13.2 M M to Kumar
0 Full on the stumps and Kumar pushes this back to the bowler off the frontfot.
13.1 M M to B Indrajith
W One more bites the dust and Indrajith has to depart now. A faster one from the left-ar spinner. Full on the stumps and Indrajith clears his front leg and tries to go big down the ground. Misses it completely and the ball crashes onto his pads. A big appeal and the umpire has no hesitation in ruling it in favour of the bowling team.

12.6 R Shah to B Indrajith
1 Slow tossed up outside off and Indrajith shimmies down the track and pushes it down the long-off region for a single and keeps the strike.
12.5 R Shah to B Indrajith
0 Slower through the air, a hint of turn and Indrajith hangs back and tries to cut and the bounce doesn't allow him to get it through the off side.
12.4 R Shah to Davidson
1 Back of a length googly, comes out of hand very well and Davidson punches it off the backfoot down the deep cover region for a single.
