So, that is it from me, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators, Arjun Bhalla and Vikhyat. Do join OneCricket's coverage of the remainder of this PSL too.
Shadab Khan: Last game, it went close and we lost. It could have gone either way. Today we performed really well and there were a lot of positives for us. The bowling really stepped up and to win tournaments, that is key. Winning the toss was important today. It wasn't as tough in the second innings to bat, as it was in the first innings. Dew is a factor. It's important to keep doing the good things. Full credit to the bowlers. Wasim and Musa were really impressive, and Hasan Ali did what he always does. Really pleasing to see the youngsters performing well. He (Faheem) is being assessed and we aren't risking him yet. Hopefully, he will be available towards the end of the league stages. He is a key player for us.
Colin Munro: I think we assessed the conditions well. The wicket today got better and it was a good toss to win. In the first game, we didn't give ourselves the time to build an innings. Today, we did that better and it was about building partnerships. It played a lot better (in the second innings) because you could see in the Quetta innings that our bowlers were able to put them under pressure. It did get wetter later on and that allowed it to skid on. We definitely had the better batting conditions.
Colin Munro has been named as the 'Man of the Match' for his scintillating knock
Sarfaraz Ahmed: Yeah, we were short of runs. And then Munro took the game away from us. We need to bowl better for sure, but more importantly, we need to bat better. We need to get some luck with the toss too. We'll try to turn things around quickly.
Time for the Post-match Presentation ceremony
Khurram Shahzad bowled a decent second over but Usman Khawaja joined the party with three boundaries off fellow Australian Jack Wildermuth. The runs continued to flow as Munro reached his fifty off just 20 balls. He went onto play a large part in smashing Khurram and Zahid Mahmood for 21 and 22 runs respectively as Islamabad United rounded off the Powerplay at 97-0. Munro continued to blaze away as he took 14 more runs off Zahid's second over. Eventually, the Kiwi batsman reverse-swept Nawaz for a maximum to seal the ten-wicket victory.
Special effort from Islamabad United to win in such style. This is the first time a side has won a game with ten overs to spare in the PSL. The match was obviously set-up by the bowling attack on what looked like a tough pitch to bat on. However, the opening duo of Colin Munro and Usman Khawaja made the 134-run chase look ridiculously easy. Munro, in particular, looked in a purple patch as he started off the innings with a 19-run over off Naseem Shah who had come in as a concussion substitute.
