That brings us to an end of a long and tiring day for all four of us in the commentary box. Stay tuned for the rest of the PSL and allow me, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty to bid adieu on the behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide, Arjun Bhalla and Kingshuk Kusari. Ta-ta and good night.
Sohail Akhtar, Lahore Qalandars Captain: We played a few bat shots upfront. They bowled really well too. We need to work on our techniques of playing in the powerplay. The plan is to maintain the winning combination and we will decide depending on the wicket. We would look to give our best.
Rashid Khan- Thanks to the almighty for my performance when the team needed. I had a bad over, the first one, but it was all about length. I bowled bad three balls which went for 14 and that was in my mind - just wanted to come back to my natural line and length. When there's a bit of dew I think it feels a little natural to me - when it's too dry I struggle with it. I like bowling with the wet ball. But there wasn't too much dew today, it was pretty normal.
Rashid Khan is the Player of the Match for another match-winning spell.
Wahab Riaz, Peshawar Zalmi Captain: We were thinking of restricting them under 140-150, but we missed the trick and couldn't execute our plans in the end. We need to improve that part in our next game but credit to their batters. The role given to him (Shoaib Malik), he's doing it wonderfully. He has got a lot of experience, I am happy how he batted. Rashid is a World Class bowler, he broke our momentum but we should've played him better. He's (Inzamam) a great legend of the game, there's a lot to learn and everybody is talking to him, hopefully we'll do well in our next game.
Arya: Earlier in the day it was Wahab Riaz who won the toss and put Qalandars in. It was a torrid start as far as Qalandars were concerned as they lost their top three wickets in the powerplay. Just 17 runs in the powerplay and it looked a tall ask for them in the next few overs. Tim David and Ben Dunk joined hands and resurrected the innings with some exceptional counter-attacking approach. Both David and Dunk smashed the Zalmi bowlers all around the park during their exceptional partnership ensuring the Qalandars stormed their way back into the game. While David scored 64 of 36 which included 3 fours and 5 sixes, Dunk was dismissed on 48 of 33 deliveries. In the end the score of 170 proved to be just enough for the Qalandars.
Arya: It would have been a tricky run chase for Peshawar Zalmi and they were jolted early as James Faulkner removed Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali in quick succession. Faulkner played a game-changing role with the ball as he finished with three wickets in quick time putting Zalmi on the backfoot right from the word go. From the 10th over of the innings it was all Rashid Khan as he spun a web around the Zalmi's batters and pushed them to a corner bagging wickets on a consistent basis. Shoaib Malik played a terrific hand and waged a lone battle till the penultimate over before smashing his bat onto the stumps while trying to guide one down the third man region staying deep in the crease. His knock of 73 came in just 48 deliveries which included 7 fours and 4 sixes. Umaid Asif ignited some hope in the final few deliveries of the match smashing some lusty blows. He remained unbeaten on 23 of 12 deliveries as Zalmi fell short by 10 runs of the eventual target.
Arya: That brings us to an end of a thrilling contest in the second leg of the 6th edition of PSL. Yet again after a poor start, Lahore Qalandars stormed their way back into the match courtesy of some impressive batting by Tim David and Ben Dunk and a magical five-wicket haul from the magician Rashid Khan. In the end, the Qalandars eek out a 10 runs victory and are the team to beat in the competition so far.

19.6 S Afridi to U Asif
0 Nails a yorker outside off and ends the game! Asif can only dig it out back to the bowler as Lahore Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi by 10 runs! It wasn't meant to be for Zalmi as Lahore Qalandars win by 10 runs.
19.5 S Afridi to U Asif
0 Says no to another run. A shorter ball bowled on middle and off, Asif is hurried into the pull shot and ends up taking it on the body.
Akshay: That was in the slot and Umaid has hit it over the fence. 11 from 2 now
19.4 S Afridi to U Asif
6 ANOTHER ONE!!!! HUGEEE!!! THERE IS LIFE IN THIS GAME! A full ball bowled into the stumps, Asif uses his long levers and deposits it over the cow-corner boundary for a maximum!
19.3 S Afridi to U Asif
0 A full ball bowled on middle and leg, Asif digs it out to square leg and refuses the single
19.2 S Afridi to U Asif
6 THAT HAS BEEN HIT OUT OF THE MILKYWAY! Full delivery just outside off, in the slot for Asif, in the arc for the batter as he helicopters it into the night sky for a MAXIMUM over deep mid wicket. A couple more needed!
19.1 S Afridi to Randhawa
1b Bowls the back of a length delivery outside off that deceives Randhawa on the swing. However, the non striker runs across and completes a run off bye
18.6 H Rauf to U Asif
6 MAXIMUM to end the over. THAT IS HUGE! Full ball bowled in the slot, Asif has a big swing at it and smacks it over the long-on region for a maximum! Now 24 needed off the last over.
18.5 H Rauf to U Asif
2 Flicks the full ball off his pads to deep square leg for an easy brace of runs
18.4 H Rauf to Randhawa
1 A very full ball bowled on middle and off, Imran carves it to the backward point region for a single.
