So, that is it from me, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators Akshay Bhide and Vikhyat. Do join OneCricket's coverage of the remainder of the PSL too
Sohail Akhtar : We gave away 10-15 runs more than we should have. We bowled well and kept it tight at the end, and eventually our batting was impressive at the death. We have spinners, and we'll pick them according to the wicket. We have the best fast bowlers in the world at the moment and we'll strategically pick the spinners when required.
Rashid Khan: I think it was the belief in my shots that got me the runs, especially to a new bowler, so I took him on and it came off. I keep enjoying myself despite the responsibility, and it's important not to burden yourself. It's important to raise your hand, go there, and perform for your team. Good fielding gives you extra energy and brings the best out of you in other aspects as well.
Rashid Khan has been named as the 'Player of the Match' for his wonderful all-round performance
Shadab Khan: When I was bowling, I had left one over for myself, for the end. As the dew came in it got easier to play spinners. I had confidence in Talat and if I had to do it again, I'd back him again. We have to forget the Karachi phase, and it's hard to play for the newer batsmen. It'll get easier later once the dew sets in, for batsmen, but we can't complain about that. Effort is in our hands, and we showed it, but the result was not in our favour tonight. Maybe it will be, later in the tournament.
It is time for the Post-match presentation ceremony now
Qalandars' match-winner Rashid Khan came to the rescue as he got three consecutive boundaries off the first three balls. Rashid then took a double before turning over the strike for the last delivery. Talat bowled a short delivery but David top-edged it over the keeper to get the remaining one run that was required.
Even though Sohail stil managed to find a boundary each in the next two overs, the 12th changed the complexion of the game as Shadab conceded 15 runs. Sohail's fine knock came to an end in the very next over as Fawad Ahmed got his man with a fine googly. Thereafter, Qalandars started to collapse as Mohammad Hafeez got out in the 15th over bowled by Hasan Ali. Islamabad United mounted the pressure with Mohammad Wasim Jr giving away just seven runs off the 18th over before Hasan Ali got the better of Ben Dunk with the equation reading 22 off eight balls. Luckily, Tim David struck a six off the final delivery to make the task easier while Shadab Khan took the risk of bowling Hussain Talat instead of himself.
Lahore Qalandars seal a thrilling win off the last delivery. What a restart to the PSL!! Chasing 144 for victory, Qalandars' opening pair of Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar got off to a steady start. However, Fakhar departed in the 4th over itself off a straight delivery from Faheem Ashraf. Sohail still continued but Islamabad United managed to slowly increase the required run-rate through their spin duo. The skipper Shadab Khan even bowled Muhammad Faizan in the 8th over after the academy product struggled with nine off 12 balls.

19.6 H Talat to T David
1 WIN FOR QALANDARS FINALLY!!! Talat went for the bouncer, executed it to near perfection, David swings his willow and the ball takes the top edge and flies over the keeper's head.
Akshay: 1 required off 1 now. David on strike. Are we in for a super over?
19.5 H Talat to R Khan
1 Full on the length, Rashid drives it to the long-off for a single. So, a single required off the last ball and all the 3 results are possible here
19.4 H Talat to R Khan
2 On the good length and in the stumps this time, Rashid flicks it to the on-side and in the gap, will call for a couple and will get it
19.3 H Talat to R Khan
4 ALL SMILES IN THE QALANDARS CAMP NOW!!! This time gets a boundary through the third man with an outside-edge. None matters as long as they keep coming.
19.2 H Talat to R Khan
4 RASHID has turned this game on his head!!! Back-to-back boundaries for Rashid and Shadab might be thinking why didn't he put himself up for the final over. Full and Rashid smokes it through the long-off region for yet another boundary
19.1 H Talat to R Khan
4 What a way to start the over!!!! Full and around-off and Rashid swings and he swings for a boundary!! The game is not yet over. Gets it over the covers for a boundary.
