That's it from our coverage of this 3rd ODI of the Women's Ashes. Australia wins it 12-4 in the end. We hope all of you enjoyed the Women's Ashes multi-format series as much as we have loved bringing it to you on our network. More cricket is coming your way as cricket never stops in our network.

For now, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of Akshay Bhide and Anmol Ahuja alongside our scorer Ashok. Till next time, stay safe, happy, and cool, and get vaccinated if you still haven't. We will catch up with you soon. TA-TA! and ADIOS! to all.
Now, the Australians gather with the trophy all smiles on their faces and rightly so, as they will rejoice it for sure. Meg Lanning and Company deserve this trophy as they have been heads and shoulders above the other teams. Congratulations to Australia and England with a lot of thinking to do as we approach the ICC Women's World Cup in New Zealand starting on 4th March 2022.
Meg Lanning | Winning Captain: "It's been an outstanding series. Firstly, I would like to thank the England camp and the support staff to come out here and play a series. It has been a team effort from us and everyone has stepped up. We have done extremely well to adapt to the conditions in whatever challenges were thrown to us. Credit to the young players to step up whenever they got an opportunity. We have a good amount of period before the World Cup. I guess we will play our first game on March 10 and we have had good preparations going into the World Cup. I would like to thank Cricket Australia and England Cricket Board to organize this series with all the challenges around. Also, would love to thank the fans out there. We missed you in the stadiums and thanks for everyone involved."
Heather Knight | Losing Captain: "It was not the ideal build-up to this Ashes. The way we started the series going toe to toe with their batters, but we lost the big moments and that's frustrating. If we could have taken them, the Ashes would be alive. In the last two matches, we were outplayed by Australia. I thought the test match, we gave our best and tried our best to do the best, but I guess a bit of mental fatigue crept in towards the end. Not an ideal ODI series and preparation going into New Zealand. We will look to freshen up and hit the reset button and come back and try and defend the trophy. We will hope to bounce back and start afresh in New Zealand and try to learn the learnings of this series."
Tahlia McGrath | Player of the Series: "I'm really enjoying my cricket and it's always a proud feeling whenever I wear this Aussie t-shirt. It was extremely difficult to break into the side and it is a world-class side. So it was difficult and I'm not a fan of being on the sidelines. I worked hard with my mental state. Along with my coaches, we have worked out on some aspects and it is working for me. So happy with how I'm going at the moment."
Tahlia McGrath has been named Player of the Series.
Annabel Suntherland | Player of the Match: " I am enjoying my cricket and enjoying it with the girls out there. It's huge playing against England. They are a tough opposition and its was a good challenge. It was a lovely ground, more for the batters than the bowlers. We have a lot of depth in our squad and I just look to do as much as I can"

Annabel Sutherland is named Player of the Match.
Time for the post-match presentation with Lisa Stalekhar.
Rachael Haynes: "We wanted to finish the series on a high and that's a statement from us ahead of the World Cup. The pitch was a bit tricky in the first few overs but was good in the later stages of the innings. Everyone has waited for it and it's a sense of relief to win the Ashes. It's a special feeling to win emphatically. Good to see everyone step up. (On World Cup preparations) We have got a hard hotel quarantine, unfortunately. But we will get started when we get back on the field."
That's the end of the game and a comfortable win for the Australians as they register a dominant 8-wicket win over hapless England with 13.4 overs remaining. They win the ODI series 3-0 and the Ashes overall 12-4. England goes back home winless just like their male counterparts.

As for today's game in the chase of 164, it was the unbeaten partnership of 90 off 116 balls between skipper Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry that sealed the deal for the Aussies. Lanning was unbeaten on 57 off 70 balls and Perry was with her on 31 off 46 balls. This after Healy and Rachel Haynes scored 42 and 31 respectively with the opening stand lasting 74 runs. Both wickets fell at 74 but that was the only joy the English bowlers enjoyed today. Australia was too dominant today.

As for the England bowlers, they had very little to enjoy today and little to defend as well. Freya Davies was good in her 1-46 and Ecclestone great as ever in her 1-18 in 10 overs, miserly figures. They had only 163 to defend and they were outclassed by the Aussies.

Earlier in the game, it was all about Tammy Beaumont's 50 and Natalie Sciver's 46 that shone in an otherwise abysmal batting performance as the Aussies were rampant and England looked absolutely clueless and lacked loads of intent to be very honest. Dean was the only other player to get to double figures with her 18 runs off 28 balls.

For Australia, the pick of the bowlers was Annabel Sutherland 9 overs 4-31. Megan Schutt chipped in with a couple of wickets 2-25 in 10 overs. A wicket apiece for Ellyse Perry, Tahlia McGrath, Alana King, and Jess Jonassen towards the end.

All in all, a great performance for the Aussies as they deserved to win the series 3-0 and 12-4 overall. England with loads of thinking to do ahead of the World Cup starting March 4th. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation coming your way.
36.2 Farrant to M Lanning
6 That's up in the air and lands over the ropes over long-off for the maximum. Game, set, and match for the Aussies as the skipper finishes things off in style. Australia wins this by 8 wickets with plenty to spare. They win it 12-4 overall.
