Thanks for joining us for the live coverage of the 3rd T20 international between Australia and Sri Lanka. This was Saurabh Saket alongside Badal Pareek and Anirudh Modi. Congratulations to the Australians as they clinch the trophy. We will be back with you as we bring you updates from all across the globe. Until then stay tuned and stay safe!
Kane Richardson | Player of the Match: "Was nice to bounce back. Didn't have a great day last day, T20 cricket, you don't want to look at the result. I was a bit rusty. I was a bit rusty. Just executing better lengths and Hazlewood showed us what to do from the last game."
Aaron Finch | Australian Captain: "I think the depth is our strength, we'll try to shuffle some guys around and gets some more information. Josh has been in good form with the ball. Ashton Agar was a strategic thing, to see things for the future. If it works out we can play 2 quicks, 2 spinners and a few all rounders. Just finding a way to see how we can manipulate the squad. I've been very patchy to fair, today was about waiting for the right opportunity for width to play my shots. They bowled pretty well but I'm happy. Sams is a phenomenal athlete, he brings so much to the team with bat and ball. He hadn't played too much for Australia, to bounce back in the second game was commendable from Richardson."
Dasun Shanaka | Sri Lanka Captain: "Actually not many positives from this game. We feel that we were short by around 20 to 30 runs. We started poorly and there was no real momentum in the innings. We need to focus on how we bat in the powerplay and not throw our wickets like we did today."
Time for the presentation ceremony.
Saket: Sri Lanka took on Australia in the 3rd T20 international in the 5 match series. The Australian side were easily able to chase down the 122 runs target in 16.5 overs to clinch the series to their name, leading it by 3-0.

Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first which was a brilliant decision from their end as they were able to restrict Sri Lanka at just 121 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Richardson was the key man for the bowling side as he picked up three crucial wickets for his side. Sri Lanka had a very slow start to the innings as they lost early wickets in the power play and could not get the start they needed. Asalanka tried his best to take his team past a respectable total on the board but did not receive a lot of support from his teammates.

Australia took to the chase but lost McDermott in the very first ball of the innings as Theeksana got him edge a good length ball to the man at slips. Skipper Finch was the next in line as he had a short partnership alongside Ashton Agar but Theeksana gave his team the second breakthrough.

Glenn Maxwell alongside Finch stabilized the innings for their side, before Maxwell took the matters into his own hands and started to slap the bowlers across the park. It was Theeksana yet again as he found the important breakthrough for Sri Lanka to send Maxwell back to the pavilion but it was perhaps too late for the guests.

Finch and Jos Inglis put up a good partnership but Sri Lanka found a good wicket as they sent Finch back with just twenty runs left to defend. Marcus Stoinis was the next in line and the big man alongside Jos Inglis closed the book on Sri Lanka as he finished the match for his side.

Glenn Maxwell was the top scorer for his side with 39 runs off 25 balls to help his side cruise past for victory. Skipper Finch played a crucial role for his side scoring 35 off 36 deliveries to provide stability for their side to win the game.
