Update | 11:24 PM IST: Big news. The main cover is removed and we might be getting a shortened game soon.
Update | 11:15 PM IST: Live pictures suggest that there is not much improvement. The groundsmen are working hard to get rid of the water and the umpires are having a chat in the middle. We are running out of time as the cut-off time for a five-over match is just 40 minutes away from now.
Update | 11.00 PM IST: No further update from the ground. Let's hope we get a five-over contest at least. Fingers crossed.
Update | 10:15 PM IST: The news is that the rain has stopped at the moment. The groundsmen are working to get the water off the covers. It will take a lot of time though. The cut-off time is 90 minutes away from now. Will keep you updated.
