Milestone
Right then, that's the end of our coverage for this game. Do join us tomorrow for the coverage of the third T20I between these two exciting teams. Until tomorrow, it's a goodnight and a ta-ta from me, Anurag Dasgupta and my co-commentator, Akshay Bhide.
"I was very impressed with the boys," Babar says. "We were 10-15 runs short, but our bowlers bowled very well, and I think we should give them credit. We were looking for 170-180, but we lost too many wickets at that time." Pays tribute to Hafeez too. "He showed his experience in the Powerplay. As captain it pleased me tremendously."
"I thought the way the bowlers bounced back shows we're consistent with the ball," Pollard says. "I don't think the pitch changed much but it dried out a bit. Pakistan bowled wicket-to-wicket, but the way we fought in the end was impressive.
Mohammad Hafeez | Player of the Match - I would love it, we had a score on the board, we knew it would be tough to score against spinners. We bowled well, myself and Shadab and then the pacers executed the yorkers well. Being here many times (having played CPL), I knew if I do the basics well, hit the right lines, executed the skills and that worked for me. A little more comfortable when I bowl to the left-handers, but it's still important to hit the right areas.
DG: Towards the fag end of the chase, there were some nerves in the Pakistani camp when Nicholas Pooran got going. The southpaw started slowly, but then decided to break the shackles. He played a magical innings of 62 from just 33 deliveries, but hardly got any support from the other batters. In the end, the target of 158 was a little too much on this slower track to chase down and Pakistan will be relatively happy with that victory.
DG: Chasing a stiff target of 158, West Indies were rocked in the very first over when Mohammad Hafeez got the better of Andre Fletcher and dismissed him for a naught. Babar Azam used Hafeez really well as the professor brought all his experience and finished with figures of 6/1 in the allotted 4 overs. The West Indies chase never took off as they played rather slowly and were finding it hard to struck the big blows. But credit to Pakistan bowlers, who used the cutters really well and hardly gave away any freebies to the destructive West Indian batting lineup.
DG: That’s the end of the match and Pakistan have won this match rather comfortably in the end. They managed to put up a decent total on the board and then the spinners tighten the screws on the aggressive West Indian batters to win the game by 7 runs. Nicholas Pooran played a blinder, but hardly got any support from the other end. Pakistan have now taken a 1-0 lead in the 4-match series.

19.6 S Afridi to N Pooran
6 SIXX!!!! Afridi bowls it full outside off, Pooran gets low and slices it over the point region for a maximum. Excellent effort from Pooran but it goes in vain as Pakistan bowlers hold their nerve in the end. They win the game by 7 runs and lead the series 1-0.
19.5 S Afridi to N Pooran
4 FOUR!!! This time he finds the gap but Pakistan won't mind it. Full around off, Pooran drills it wide of long off for a boundary.
19.4 S Afridi to N Pooran
0 That should be the game for Pakistan. Excellent from Afridi. Bowls it full and straight on the stumps and all Pooran can do is hit it down the ground towards long off. He again denies the single.
19.3 S Afridi to N Pooran
0 Afridi bowls it in the slot and Pooran drills this straight towards long off. He denies the single here. 18 required from 3 now.

19.2 S Afridi to K Pollard
W In the air and taken. Afridi strikes and it's the big wicket of Pollard. Bowls a low full toss on leg, Pollard swings at it as he gets a leading edge and carries all the way to the sweeper in the off side. Wasim makes no mistake as the West Indies skipper departs.
19.1 S Afridi to K Pollard
2 Afridi starts from round the wicket. Bowls it full on the pads, Pollard whips it into the leg side and scampers back for the second.
DG: 20 required off 6. Shaheen Afridi to bowl the penultimate over.

18.6 H Ali to K Pollard
1 On a length around off, Pollard mistimes the pull into the on side for a single. Good finish to the over by Hasan Ali. And now West Indies need 20 runs from the last over.
18.5 H Ali to K Pollard
0 Banged in short on the stumps, Pollard goes for the pull but ends up getting an inside edge on his body. A crucial dot ball from Hasan Ali.
