That's the end of the presentation ceremony. Heather Knight receives the trophy and the celebrations have begun. So, that's all for our coverage from this monumental multi-format series. It was a pleasure bringing you all the live updates. Till the next time, ta-ta and a goodnight from me, Anurag Dasgupta and my co-commentators, Akshay Bhide and Anurag Singh.
Heather Knight | England captain: "Really pleased with the girls, we talked about being ruthless so really pleased for Danni, for her to perform like that was outstanding. She hasn't scored as many runs as she would like but she got her head down and backed her game, scoring boundaries and being a whippet between the wickets. It's brilliant to have that Test match, it gives you narrative throughout the series, we're not had it easy, we've learnt some stuff, and been in restrictions too so pleased with how the girls have stuck at it.
Harmanpreet Kaur | India captain: Firstly, we're thankful to the support we've got in all the games from the crowd. But yes, it was disappointing to not finish with a win. We could have scored a bit more runs with the bat and then dew made it tough in the second innings. Someone had to bat till the very end, it was something we had talked about but didn't happen today. Hopefully it will come off soon. They (Richa and Shafali) are really good, performing whenever they are getting opportunities. Hoping that they continue it. Always nice to play a multi-format series like this, gives more importance to each game.
Nat Sciver | Player of the Series: "This series was really important for us, to perform like we did tonight, and the bowlers did an exceptional job. Danni batted how we know she can bat, it's been such a long time since we've seen it but she worked really hard. Bowling is tricky, and something I've been lucky enough to do for a few years. It's a batter's game so having some swing is really important." The way I played in the first T20 I'd love to play more like that, I'd love to play like Dottin, it would be fun. Hitting more sixes is something I'm keen on doing.
Danielle Wyatt | Player of the Match: It was about time (to get back to form). It was my night today. It was a beautiful pitch, came on nice and I felt that my best options were to hit straight as well as over cover. There is always pressure to do well, I just try to enjoy it. Will try to enjoy myself on and off the field, score runs and then see what happens (to my ODI future).
Presentation ceremony coming up in a while.
DG: Earlier in the day, India won the toss and elected to bat first on a belter of a track. Katherine Brunt stunned India in her very first over, scalping the dangerous Shafali Verma for a duck. Smriti Mandhana played sensibly early on in her innings and once she settled in, the southpaw took on the English bowling attack with ease. She was amply supported by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur who played a second fiddle and was eventually dismissed for a well compiled 36. Mandhana played some gorgeous strokes and blunted her way to yet another half-century in the shortest format of the game. Mandhana was eventually dismissed trying to up the ante, but Richa Ghosh provided the late flurry as India managed to reach 153, which in the end was way less to challenge the strong England batting lineup.
DG: Chasing a stiff target of 154, England got off to a horrendous start, losing Tammy Beaumont cheaply. The Indian pacers tighten the screws as they bowled at the right channels and made England struggle for every single run. But once spin was introduced early in the powerplay, Danielle Wyatt decided to break the shackles as she toyed with the spinners. The elegant batter used her feet really well against the spinners and looked in sublime touch. The star of the series, Nat Sciver too joined the fun as the duo played some exquisite shots and took the game away from the visitors. Wyatt was a woman on a mission as she blazed away to a quickfire half-century and made up for her lost form in the first two T20I games. Despite losing Nat Sciver towards the fag end of the chase, the partnership proved to be the difference makers as England Women cruised past the target and in the process clinched the series in style. England win the multi-format series 10-6, having won the ODI and the T20I leg of the tour.
DG: That’s the end of the match and England have annihilated India by 8 wickets and have won the game with 8 balls to spare. With this victory, Heather Knight and her troops have clinched the 3-match T20I series, 2-1. Congratulations to England Women who were simply outstanding throughout the course of the series. It was a Danielle Wyatt show as she blazed away the visitors with her stunning unbeaten knock of 89.
18.4 D Sharma to D Wyatt
1 There it is. England clinch the multi-format series. What an innings this has been from Danielle Wyatt. Finishes the game with a flick in the mid wicket region for a single. With this, England beat India by 8 wickets with 8 balls to spare.
DG: SCORES LEVEL! Stunning innings from Dani Wyatt..
18.3 D Sharma to D Wyatt
4 FOUR!!! Fired down leg and Wyatt makes the use of the pace as she sweeps it past short fine leg for a boundary. England one run away from clinching the series.
Singh: With that six, Wyatt has settled the series for England.
18.2 D Sharma to D Wyatt
6 SIXXX!!!! That should be the game for England. What a sensational strike from Wyatt. Deepti switches to round the wicket and tosses this up, Wyatt gets down on one knee and sweeps it over deep square leg for a maximum.
18.1 D Sharma to D Wyatt
2 That will settle the nerves for England. Flighted on the stumps, Wyatt steps out and drills this through covers and has enough time to come back for the second.
