So, that’s all from today’s game. It was a pleasure bringing you the ball-by-ball coverage of this match. This was me, Arjun Bhalla, alongside my co-commentators, Anurag Dasgupta and Anurag Singh.
With this win, Scotland has leveled the series, the two-match One Day International series gets wrapped at 1-1.
Arjun: Earlier in the end, the Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat first. However, the first innings belonged to Alasdair Evans who took a five-wicket haul to stop the Dutch at a low total of 171 runs.
Arjun: Scotland finish the chase earlier as they win the second ODI by six wickets. The visitors had a mere total of 172 runs to level the series. The openers gave them a steady start but the Scottish team lost three wickets in quick succession. Then came Munsey out in the middle to have a handy partnership with Berrington. The pair scored 32 runs in between them to calm the nerves. However, the Dutch scalped the latter's wicket but Budge came to rescue. He along with Munsey stiched a sensible 106-run stand. The southpaw scored a brilliant 79*, while Budge knocked the ball around for his 40. In the end, Scotland win the second ODI with 47 balls remaining.
