Shubham: West Indies showed their character brilliantly today and it shows how much this series means to them. Nevertheless, the game will be remembered for Brathwaite's humongous effort, Stokes' swashbuckling show, Lawrence's effervescence, and the mighty impressive Joe Root. The third test match starts 24th march which will be a decider since the series is still hanging in balance. Until then, stay safe and stay healthy! This is Shubham, along with my co-commentators, Ovaise and Akshaya Krishna, and scorer/analyst Zeeshan signing off! Goodnight everyone!
Kraigg Brathwaite: Feeling great. Obviously, England played well. They had a lot of support, but thanks to our West Indies fans for turning up. Of course, we wanted a result but we are quite happy with the way we have played in this match.. We hope there's something for the pacers in Grenada. I put in a lot of effort, and doing it in front of my family at my home ground is a proud feeling. Blackwood didn't get enough runs in the first test but he showed a good attitude and fighting spirit in this Test when England bowlers were bowling well. We wanted to improve in different periods of the game and handle such situations is a more improved way.
Joe Root: I think we picked off where we finished, from last match to here. That second innings we showed a lot of aggression as a batting group we took that here. Really pleasing to see us go and make a substantial first innings total for the first time in a long time. Hopefully we keep replicating it. On Lawrence- he was Brilliant, he is obviously a very talented player. When asked about the bowlers - I think both Mahmood and Fisher have been brilliant, looking at how flat the pitches were it was great to see them bend their back and toil hard throughout this match. When asked about the declaration- It's always tricky isn't it? We thought in a small gound anyone can come and get going, so we wanted that extra cushion with the runs. Credit to the West Indies they fought really hard throughout this test. We'll have to see what kind of wicket we get and we'll decide the eleven according to that.
Shubham:  IT IS A DRAW!!! What a fantastic test match this was! This is what Day 5 of a test match should be! West Indies have SAVED the test match here. They scored 185/6 in their 65 overs. England started their day on 45/0 and came out with an attacking mindset to set a target for the opposition. They lost 3 quick wickets in the form of Lees, Crawley, and Root. Permaul persisted with good lines and so got the reward. Stokes was starting to look dangerous but was caught off Roach, scoring 19(18). Bairstow played some good shots and ended up with a cameo of 29 off 25, which included 2 sixes. Lawrence departed as well, scoring 41 while trying to up the ante. Foakes and Woakes batted for a while and England declared with the lead of 281 runs! Permaul and Seales were the only bowlers who looked dangerous and we're keeping the England batsmen in check.
West Indies lost three quick wickets and were 39/3 at one point. Mahmood was bowling fire and looked unplayable in his first spell. Brathwaite and Blackwood batted exceptionally well for 24 overs and looked solid until Leach bowled a Blinder and got ride of Blackwood. Holder batted for 23 deliveries and scored zero, had a brain-fade moment, and tried to fickle with a wide delivery outside off, ended up losing his wicket. It was all up to Brathwaite and Da Silva who batted their hearts out and were brilliant in their defense. Brathwaite continued his good form, faced again 180+ deliveries, and held one end through the innings. Joshua Da Silva faced 63 deliveries and made sure to tire up the England bowlers and to save the test match for his team!

Leach bowled 94 overs in this match and bowled some great lines and lengths throughout. He did pick 3 wickets in the second innings but couldn't get England a win there. Mahmood got two quick wickets of Brooks and Bonner. Lawrence tested the West Indies batsmen throughout his spell but was unlucky at times!
Akshaya: Joe Root shakes his hand with Kraigg Brathwaite. Match Drawn.
