Well, that's it from the first game of the doubleheader Sunday as RR beat SRH by 55 runs. Hope you all enjoyed the coverage. This is Arjun Bhalla, signing off along with my co-commentators, Anurag Singh and Karthik Raj. Tune in to the live coverage for the second game of the day to be held between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals.
Arjun: The pick of bowlers were Chris Morris and Fizz, both bagged three wickets each. Meanwhile, Kartik Tyagi and Rahul Tewatia picked a wicket each. In the end, the Royals register two more points on the table.
Arjun: The Sunrisers from Hyderabad were under enormous pressure from the beginning of the innings as a target of 221 was next to impossible and David Warner's absence haunted them badly. The openers in Manish Pandey and Bairstow gave the Orange Army the desired start before Pandey got knocked off, soon followed Jonny B and Vijay Shankar. Skipper Kane tried his luck alongside Kedar Jadhav but the pressure of the required run-rate got better off the batters and RR bowlers were rewarded with wickets.
Arjun: Finally, Rajasthan Royal have a registered a clinical victory in the IPL 2021. It all started by the blade of Jos Buttler who batted incredibly to lit up the game. The Englishman smashed his maiden T20 hundred and didn’t spare any of the SRH bowlers. Buttler was nicely assisted by his skipper Samson as the Royals ended on 220 for 3.
A HUGE, HUGE WIN for Rajasthan Royals as they have registered a 55-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
