That is all from the commentary box folks. Join us tomorrow for an extra special doubleheader day. Before leaving the whole family of Onecricket urges everyone to stay safe, say secure. Wear masks if one has to go outside, wash and sanitize your hands regularly and keep social distancing and get vaccinated as and when you are eligible. We have to beat the virus together. Till tomorrow it's bye and goodnight from me, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and my fellow commentators Arjun Bhalla, Kingshuk Kusari and Anurag Singh.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Player of the Match: Obviously, it means a lot, but a little bit disappointed I couldn't finish it. I'd loved to be not out. I think the wicket was a little bit two-paced: some were skidding and some were stopping. It was about hitting the gaps. One or two bowlers had an off day and I had to keep going. Fortunately, it came off today. I want to keep performing every match and be consistent.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is the Man of the Match for his sensational knock.
MS Dhoni, CSK skipper: The batting performance was superb, but that doesn't mean the bowling was not good. It was a surprisingly good Delhi wicket, there was no dew. Brilliant opening partnership. I think addressing the problem [what's been different for CSK this year?] The earlier you settle the issue, the better it is. The fact was 5-6 months we were out of cricket last year and that also makes it difficult. Longer quarantine and quite a lot of factors. If I have to sum it up, the players have taken up more responsibility this year. If you see for the last 8-10 years, we have not changed players from the squad. We also appreciate the players who don't get the chance. Try to have faith and when you get an opportunity, you need to be ready for it. Keeping the dressing-room atmosphere healthy is important. We need to give extra credit to the players who are not playing.
It's time for Ian Bishop to have a chat with CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is the Upstox Most Valuable Asset of the Match. 30 Upstox points for the young Gaikwad. Gets a trophy and a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.

Ruturaj Gaikwad is the Dream11 Game Changer of the Match. 101 fantasy points, bags a trophy and cheque of Rs 1 lakh.
Kane Williamson is the Safari Super Striker of the Match. A strike of 260. He maximised the opportunities towards the final overs. Gets a trophy and a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.
Faf du Plessis bags the Vivo Perfect Catch of the Match for his brilliant catch to dismiss Manish Pandey. Gets a Vivo phone and a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.
Time for the Post Match Presentation Ceremony with Ian Bishop.
Arya: Warner was finally dismissed after a dodgy 55 of 53 deliveries which actually proved to be a blessing in disguise for the Sunrisers. It brought Kane Williamson out in the middle and buoy he totally changed the complexion of the match with his fireworks. It was batting of the highest order and his strokeplay was a hallmark of a legend who is a mindboggling reader of the game. Williamson blazed his way to an unbeaten 26 of just 10 deliveries. Kedar Jadhav smashed 10 of the last two deliveries to eventually power SRH to 171.
Arya: Coming back to the match, it was the Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner who won the toss and opted to bat. Jonny Bairstow was dismissed early but David Warner and Manish Pandey shared a good partnership to steady the ship. However, Warner was far from his usual fluent best and struggled to time the ball. Most of his shots found the fielder and the frustration was evident in his body language. Manish Pandey looked good on the other end but didn't quite manage to find the boundaries consistently.
David Warner, SRH captain- I take full responsibility for the way I batted. I batted slow and hit the fielders. The way Manish batted was exceptional. Kane and Kedhar got us to a respectable total, but at the end of the day I take full responsibility. Probably 15 good shots to fielders and they are the ones that make or break the innings. At the end of the day, I took too many balls. We fought well to the end, but the two [CSK] openers batted well. I'm not too sure. He was going to bat 4 and at the end of the day, we soaked up too many balls. At the end of the day, he bats at 4 and that's his job. I think we have a day game here as well. 170 is par during the night, but we need to be positive. We're a bunch of fighters. The guys will be hurt by this but we will be up and about.
Faf du Plessis, orange-cap holder: It feels good, but obviously winning is just as nice. My partnership with Rutu is very productive and positive signs for us. We try to make sure that my basics are good. The last season went well for me personally. I made sure that I keep doing well. I think 170 was a touch under what they needed to go. I think around 190 would have been a good score. It was a nice wicket, slowed down as thw ball got older, but overall a very good cricket wicket. I think we have a very good balance and the batting depth is very good. Even the depth in the bench - Robbie Uthappa and the guys. I think the biggest change for me is we have a bit more depth and balance in the squad. I've been disappointed that I haven't been taking many catches. Jaddu has been stealing the show.
Faf du Plessis is the new orange cap holder.
Arya: The SRH bowlers looked dazed in front of some high-quality batting from the Protea and the Indian youngster. It was as if one was playing the sitar and clinging onto his notes perfectly while the other was playing the violin with every stroke so perfect. After smashing Rashid Khan all around the park, Gaikwad was castled by the Afghan spinner in the same over. It was a peach of a delivery that beat his outside edge and disturbed the timbers. He came back in his next over and bagged the wickets of Moeen Ali and Faf du Plessis in successive deliveries but by then CSK was already within touching distance of the target. Eventually, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja stayed there till the end to see off the run-chase for their team.
Arya: The run-chase took off right from the word go. After a few knicks here and there in the first few overs, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis was all over the SRH bowlers. They made batting look ridiculously easy through their brilliant partnership of 129 runs in less than 13 overs. Gaikwad in particular showed no mercy even to the likes of Rashid Khan. Some delightful shots also flowed from the blade of Faf du Plessis as both completed their half-centuries.
Arya: What a clinical performance it turned out to be for the Chennai Super Kings as they seal the 23rd match of the competition by 7 wickets. Some sublime batting from Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad meant that the target of 171 never proved to enough as far as the Sunrisers were concerned. The victory has meant that CSK go to the top of the points table with a superior net run rate than RCB.
