Moeen Ali: I really tried to spin the ball, and the other two spinners were really great and I was lucky enough to bowl when the wicket was turning. Batting at the top of the order is a great opportunity as well. When you go up the order you have the chance to bat in the powerplay, and I had a nice partnership with Jos to take it to the bowlers.

Jos Buttler: I think the spinners were fantastic, quite good to lose the toss, put together a good score and put a lot of pressure on them. The two leggies bowled brilliantly and contributed to the team's win. It was good to be back in the team and to lead the team as well.
Babar Azam: We gave away too many runs, perhaps 30 too many, and weren't able to carry through the momentum we built at the top. Lost my wicket at a crucial time, but we back our ability to chase down a total because we've done it in the past. Happy with our spinners but the fast bowlers leaked too many runs and we'll look to rectify that in the next game.

Pakistan started the innings with positive intent and took on the English bowlers from ball one. Rizwan along with the skipper brought up the 50-runs stand in just the 6th over and Babar fell soon to Saquib Mahmood and Maqsood soon followed him after being stumped brilliantly by Buttler from behind the stumps. Rizwan tried to deal some massive blows but a special catch by Rashid put an end to his innings as well. Apart from him no one could get going and Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The spinners did an excellent job especially the spin twins of Rashid and Ali who rattled the Pakistan top and middle-order completely. In the end, the Men in Green fall way short of this huge total but they still have a chance to salvage the series in the decider.
England would be disappointed with the final score but that's how they roll. Just keep going after the bowlers without a care of the situation or how many wickets have fallen. Roy and Malan went early, but that didn't affect Buttler and Moeen as the pair took on the bowling and added a quick 66-run stand. The stand-in skipper continued to attack and got to his fifty, Livingstone then carried the bat and struck a few meaty blows, of which one went outside the park but his run-out changed the complexion of the game. They failed to bat their full 20 overs quota and got bowled out at 200 with almost 15-20 runs short of the desired total.
And with that England beat Pakistan comprehensively and level up the 3-match T20I series, 1-1. They fall short of this mammoth total by 45 runs and are humiliated by the hands of England. Nonetheless, they still have another opportunity to clinch the T20 series as it goes into the final match of the tour.
