Arijit: well, that's the highlights from the first game of the night. Delhi Bulls seals a comprehensive win as they chased down 98 in 8.4 overs and 5 wickets in hand. Arijit: The warriors started pretty well managing 32 in 2 overs on the back of Nicholas Poorans clean hitting. But they kept loosing some wickets on roll. The bowlers of the Bulls were on a roll as wicket kept tumbling for the Warriors , courtesy to the impressive bowling from the delhi Bulls. Bravo, Young, Maqsood was simply fabulous with the bowl. Each one of them followed up with 2 wickets and impressive bowling also from Shiraz Ahmed to put the warriors on the backfoot.
Arijit: So, that's a wrap from the qualifier of the Alobond Abu Dhabi T10 league. A comprehensive win for the bulls to cement their place in the finals. Well, they need to wait for the night to end, to figure out who they play in the finals. It could be the Warriors too as they've still got a chance to qualify when they lock horns against the winner of the eliminator. Nicholas Pooran was the standout for them with 32 off 12 balls on offer.Wayne Parnell and Dhananjay Lakhan in the end managed to tick the scorecard for 97.
Coming to chase, a not so tough total, the openers gave a flying start as Evin Lewis and Gurbaz went off to charge the bowlers in every ball. But not for long, as Junaid Siddique of UAE impressed with the ball in hand and went on to scalp four big wickets to his name. The warriors managed to knock off batsmen at regular intervals, at one point it looked like the game was going away from the hands of the Bulls.But thanks to Tom Abell, as he raced 23 runs from 11 deliveries to sea off his team into the finals.
