Good night, folks. Our shift ends early today. It was a fantastic win for Royal Challengers Bangalore and a hard for Eoin Morgan and his Knights. I, Arjun Bhalla, and my co-commentator Akshay Bhide had a wonderful time bringing the updates for you. See you tomorrow for the clash between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
KKR's thinktank needs to work on their batting corpse. they don't have much of time as they have their next clash against the table-toppers Delhi Capitals on Saturday. On the other hand, RCB would be relaxed as they will enjoy their lay-off period till Sunday.
Mohammed Siraj, Player of the Match: Was bowling with the new ball a lot in practice, got the opportunity today. Mood in the camp is great. Everyone is supporting each other, talking to each other. Cherished the delivery to Rana, came out exactly as I had thought.
Mohammed Siraj wins the Man of the Match Award.
Virat Kohli | RCB (winning) skipper: It was a late call to be honest (to give Siraj the new ball). Was thinking of giving Washy. I obviously have thought about the things we can do on the field. Management have brought in a proper culture. We have plan A, we have plan B, and people are executing it that's why it's looking good. Don't think lot of people have belief in RCB. Guys in the changeroom do and that's all that matters. Can have the best players in the world but if you don;'t have the belief it's no good. Morris is loving the responsibility. He likes to be in a leadership role in the team. Even against Kings, he tried to york Gayle. His energy is amazing. A great, great addition to our squad. Last year he had a tough year. Lot of people went hard at him. But he worked hard. He's seeing the result now and we want him to continue.
Mohammed Siraj is the Cred Powerplayer of the Match.
Eoin Morgan bags the Unacademy Lets Crack it Sixes Award.
Devdutt Padikkal is the Altroz Super Striker of the Match.
Mohammed Siraj is the Dream11 Game Changer of the Match.
Gurkeerat Singh Mann: It was a wonderful performance by the boys and everybody chipped in. Siraj was amazing, good to see him back. That was the basic idea because I haven't got to bat much. It was a plan so that I middle a few balls and play a lot of balls before the next game. It's been very good (batting with Kohli) because you have the support. Last time I had an opportunity to play with AB, so learnt a lot from that, learnt a lot from today too. It (RCB's bowling) was amazing, especially the line and length. We had a conversation before we went in, Virat bhai and AB mentioned that we had to just try and hit top of off-stump. That's what the bowlers tried and they got the results. We are giving our best in every match.
Eoin Morgan | KKR (losing) skipper: Being 4/5 down early on isn't the position we wanted to be in. RCB bowled well and probably looking at the conditions, we should have bowled first. We will learn our lessons and move on in the next game. It was a question of backing the young Indian guys who showed glimpses of talent and potential. They (RCB bowlers) managed to exploit anything that was on offer and given the nature of the tournament every time you have to be at your best against every team. Hopefully they (Narine and Russell) will be available around the corner and we know when guys of that caliber, particularly all-rounders are available, things will be different. Hopefully they will be available soon.
What a fabulous win for the RCB boys. What a bowling effort, Mohammed Siraj was the start for Bangalore who got two wickets in his first over and another wicket in his second over. He bowled his best bowling figures in this game, which were: 4 overs- 2 maidens - 8 runs - 3 wickets. He was well supported by Morris and Saini in the powerplay overs. This set up the game for the Royal Challengers. Then, the spin twins of RCB, Yuzi & Sundar took over, they bowled 8 overs together and shared 3 wickets between them. RCB didn't allow the KKR batter to score at all. They had the target of 85 runs to chase which they did with quite some ease. Finch & Padikkal laid a solid foundation in the powerplay overs. RCB were 44 was no loss after the first six overs. Two quick wickets right after the powerplay overs but the game was in RCB's hands till then. Gurkeerat and Kohli finished the chase for RCB in the 14th over.
Royal Challengers Bangalore win this match against Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets.
RCB wins this game by a huge margin. A big push in their net run-rate as they are now on the second position in the points table. Royal Challengers Bangalore's run-rate jumps up to +0.182 after this win.
13.3 Prasidh Krishna to Virat Kohli
1 A short ball around off and Kohli steers this fine past DK to beat KKR. He comes back for the second as the third man fielder stops this on the boundary ropes. All smiles in the RCB camp as they have wrapped up the game in the 14th over
13.2 Prasidh Krishna to Virat Kohli
0 Nails the yorker on the stumps and Kohli taps this to mid wicket. A dot ball
And the scores are leveled. Is this game going into the Super Over? Hahaha

2 On the pads and Kohli flicks this past mid wicket for a couple
