Milestone
So that's that from today's coverage folks, hope you liked the coverage from the start till the end. It's a goodbye and a good night from me, Mohak Arora and my colleague Akshay Bhide. See you tomorrow for Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab.
Anrich Nortje, Player of the Match: Been feeling it the last few days. Nice to see some results. Buttler played them really well. Maybe I was a touch too full. Didn't expect him to go for a six first ball. Maybe he was expecting something else off that delivery. Stuck to my strength and paid off. Didn't expect the second ramp. Luckily I stuck to it. We've got a good coach in Ryan. Lovely working with KG. Tushar has been working in the nets. Enjoying my experience with them. Doesn't look like it but it's nerve-wracking. Better to be on the field than on the other side.
Kagiso Rabada: Just glad that we won. Stokes and Buttler got off to a great start but we knew it would get tough to bat if we used our line and length smartly along with the field settings. (On bowling with Nortje) We learn a lot from each other. He is a real fast bowler and I can learn some technical stuff from him. I have some experience which I can tell him about. It is good to chat. (On Nortje's 156kph delivery) It looks like that every game. Really happy for him but not happy for the batter. Maybe when we have a drink tonight he might slip a comment through. When we play we only think about the delivery and not about the speed gun. Deshpande is a youngster who has a lot of passion for the game. He has talent and hunger and it didn't look as if it was his first game. He has a lot of work to do and could be a real talent for India in the future.
The two fast bowlers from South Africa will also be sharing their thoughts, Rabada first
Shikhar Dhawan: He's in pain but his shoulder is moving. We'll get proper report tomorrow. One moment it was quite even and to pick it back from there was a team effort. Was important we stayed positive as a team. Knew their batting isn't deep. Knew if we got their top-order we can get them. Everytime we want them to deliver they're delivering. Courage he showed, line and length he bowled was amazing (Deshpande). Have to keep the momentum. Long tournament. Will keep the process going.
Shreyas Iyer is injured and the stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan will be saying a few lines in his absence
Steven Smith | Losing captain: Disappointing. The wicket slowed up a bit as the game went on. We got off to a good start with Jos and Stokesy, then we lost a couple wickets and got another partnership between Stokesy and Sanju, we lost wickets in clumps again and on slow wickets it is hard to make up too many runs at the backend. We needed to take it a bit deeper from some batters and we were not able to do that. We thought we bowled well at the backend and restricted them to 160-odd, that was probably around par on this wicket. And the opening partnership got us ahead in the game but we couldn't extend those partnerships, boys were getting in and getting out, not going on to make 50 or 60. It has been the trend in the tournament, the boys that have the air speed have had the most success, Jofra has been great for us and same with Nortje and Rabada for Delhi. They changed things around tonight with bowling with pace, taking pace off and varying it nicely, we weren't able to deal with that.
Let's see what both the skippers have to say about today's match
Rajasthan Royals started the run-chase excellently as they were cruising 37/0 after 2.5 overs before Jos Buttler was clean bowled by Anrich Nortje. After Steve Smith's early dismissal to Ravi Ashwin, Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson tried to build together a partnership but it was ended by Tushar Deshpande who got Stokes out. Efforts from Samson, Robin Uthappa, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia were just not good enough on a slow track and DC came out winners after looking down and dusted for a large part of the RR innings. DC bowlers gave only 25 runs from the last five overs pulling off another excellent win in the IPL 2020.
Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first. After losing Prithvi Shaw for a golden duck and Ajinkya Rahane as well, skipper Iyer supported the in-form Shikhar Dhawan well as they built a 85-run partnership from 55 balls. Dhawan and Iyer smashed half centuries before returning to the pavilion helping Delhi post 161 on the board.
The Delhi Capitals have defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 13 runs to climb to the top of the table once again. The Capitals can thank their bowlers for a massive effort once again as they defended a par total with ease.

19.6 Tushar Deshpande to Shreyas Gopal
W Bowled outside off and Gopal chips it straight to the point fielder. The Delhi Capitals have wrapped another win with another excellent bowling effort!
19.5 Tushar Deshpande to Shreyas Gopal
4 An outside edge off Gopal's bat flies over the short third-man fielder and it's a boundary.
19.4 Tushar Deshpande to Rahul Tewatia
1 Tewatia skies the ball right over the pitch and Deshpande wants to catch it but a collision between him and Gopal stopped the young man from getting 2 wickets on his debut match, single taken.
19.3 Tushar Deshpande to Rahul Tewatia
0 Low full-toss and an inside edge off Tewatia's blade goes to deep fine leg. He denies the single, wants to bat here.
19.2 Tushar Deshpande to Shreyas Gopal
1 Gopal plays it to long-on and takes a single.
19.1 Tushar Deshpande to Rahul Tewatia
1 Tewatia slogs a full-length ball and finds Rahane in the deep whose acrobatic effort to catch the ball and throw it back into the field of play before falling beyond the ropes is one of the best we have seen this season. Justa single taken, what are the batsmen doing?
19.1 Tushar Deshpande to Rahul Tewatia
WD A wide outside off to start the over
