Good night folks! Thanks for staying with us till the end of the commentary and updates of this match. Goodbye on the behalf of my colleague Karthik Raj and me, Arjun Bhalla. Have a good night's sleep before we continue the action tomorrow with DC vs RR.
Jonny Bairstow | Player of the Match: Very pleased. The consistency is the key. The partnership at the top was the key tonight. He's (Warner) a good fun, we know what a quality batter he is. I am happy with the way I am striking. The temperature is different, the dimensions and pitches are different too. The guys held the nerve.
David Warner | Winning captain: I was a bit nervous while Nicholas was hitting it over the stands. I have always had high prospects. I was fortunate to play in Bangladesh with him. You always think, 'What can I do?'. He's (Rashid) a world-class bowler, it's great to have him. He always delivers in pressure situations. What a player. Sad for Bhuvi, but having one of our best death bowlers out of the team gives an opportunity for others. We love batting with each other. At the moment, I am just rotating strike for him. We enjoy batting with each other. If we apply pressure by coming at them. We have got a tough game against RR, have to start fresh again.
Rashid Khan: That's what happens when you have a good total on the board, the batsmen have to go after you. But you also have to bowl your best deliveries and that's what I was trying to do. It is a big loss for us to lose Mitch Marsh and Bhuvi. As a team we still have a good combination and the youngsters are taking the responsibility. We have the best bowling combination in the last 4-5 years. It was a simple plan for us, we had defended 160 on this ground, we thought 180-185 would be a good score on this wicket and anything over that we were happy. We spoke about enjoying bowling and keep working hard in the field, that is something we have seen as well from Priyam - the catch and run out - changed the game. He (Najeeb Tarakai) was a good friend, human being and we lost him two days ago in an accident, it is something shocking (SRH players wore black arm-bands today in his honour).
KL Rahul | Losing captain: I think when we lose wickets in the powerplay, it's always going to be tough and getting Mayank run-out was a disaster. We kept losing wickets after that and it was one of those days where everything (aerial shots) went into the hands of fielders. The last five games we've been struggling in the death overs, but we pulled things back, else 230 was on the cards. Pooran is so good to watch, he's hitting proper cricketing shots. If we get a decent job at the start, he can do the job for us later. He's (Ravi Bishnoi) always enjoyed those situations, that's great to see for a youngster. All of them are professionals, and they know where they're going wrong. Everyone's working hard and they want to contribute for the team. They have proved themselves in the past, sometimes it doesn't come off, but you got to be patient.
Hahaha... The Brain fade moment! It was a very dramatic ball. First a loud appeal by Khaleel and Bairstow for claiming the catch. David Warner said no for the DRS call but the leg umpire asked the third umpire for his assistance as he thought it isn't a bump catch! The third umpire overturned the umpire's decision of bump catch and signaled Mujeeb OUT. Mujeeb ur Rahman started walking but the think tank people from the dugout signaled him to take the DRS and he did. His DRS was lost as the decision remained the same but we witnessed the second Brain-fade moment in the history of Cricket here in Dubai.
What are your thoughts about the Mujeeb's Brain fade moment, Arjun?
A team effort by the orange army first with the bat when Bairstow and Warner built that 160 runs opening stand and then a comprehensive bowling and fielding performance in the second half of the game.
The Sunrisers bowling attack was looking a bit weak after Bhuvneshwar Kumar's exit but David Warner used his bowlers, especially the Mystery Man - Rashid Khan really well! Abdul Samad and Abhishek Sharma got some bashing by Nic Pooran by the overall bowling were commendable. Rashid Khan is the king with the bowler in the middle overs and the way he bowled the 15th over was exceptional. T Natarajan is also filling the big boots of Bhuvi in the death bowling.
It was a One Man Show for KXIP in the second innings as they got all out in 17th over at 132. Nicholas Pooran was the lone warrior fighting for Punjab in the chase of 202. Pooran battled hard for his 37 balls 77 but no other batter helped him in the chase. Pooran's half-century was the quickest 50 for this season which came in just 17 balls. His innings comprised of 5 fours and 7 maximums. The second-highest score for KXIP was 11 runs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad beats Kings XI Punjab by 69 runs. This was SRH's third-biggest win by runs in the IPL.
16.5 T Natarajan to Arshdeep Singh
W All over for KXIP!!! Full delivery once again and Arshdeep drives it straight to David Warner at mid-off. SRH seal a terrific 69-run win here
16.4 T Natarajan to Arshdeep Singh
0 Yorker yet again, Arshdeep digs it back to the bowler
16.3 T Natarajan to Arshdeep Singh
0 Another yorker, Arshdeep plays it out to mid-off. No run
16.2 T Natarajan to Sheldon Cottrell
W What a yorker!!! Castles the middle-stump as Cottrell couldn't get even a piece of wood on that ball
16.1 T Natarajan to Ravi Bishnoi
1 Yorker on the stumps, Bishnoi digs it out for a single
