Player Bio

The most talented wicket-keeper batsman in the current Zimbabwe women’s team, Modester Mupachikwa is a young opening sensation in the current Zimbabwe squad. 

She played for the Zimbabwe women's team in the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in February 2017. On the back of an amazing debut season, Mupachikwa was named in the Women's Global Development Squad to play fixtures against Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) clubs. She made her T20I debut for Zimbabwe against Namibia women on 5 January 2019. Since making her domestic debut in 2011, she has scored 4 half-centuries and has won 4 titles for the Eagles in the domestic structure. In the recently concluded ODI series against Pakistan Women, she featured in the first ODI scoring just 4 runs.
