Player Bio

A left-arm orthodox spinner who balls on the flatter trajectory, Mark Watt loves to ball quicker on the stumps to deceive the batsmen.

Watt made his Scotland debut in a T20I game against Ireland in 2015, going wicketless in the game.

He took his first five-wicket haul in T20I’s against Netherlands in 2016. The spinner took 5 for 27 to rattle the Dutch side.

In the same year he made his ODI debut against Hong Kong, registering his maiden wicket in the ODI format.

In 2019, Watt was drafted in the Scotland squad for the 2019 ICC World Cup Qualifiers.

A crafty orthodox spinner, Watt is a cunning bowler who relies on his variations to deceive the batsmen.
