Jeremy's Bio

A talented left-hander, Jeremy Solozano is a professional cricketer hailing from Trinidad and Tobago. He started playing cricket from his schooling days, Solozano represented the Trinidad and Tobago Red Forces at the U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 levels.

After an exceptional season with the Red Forces, the 26-year old earned selection into the West Indies U-19 squad and went on to feature in 14 matches. Prior to his U-19 selection, he made his first-class debut against Jamaica in May 2013 at the tender age of just 17. However, a slow start meant he would have to wait almost 2 years for another opportunity.

Solozano became fairly regular for the Red Force from 2015 onwards and in 2019 off the back of some solid domestic performances, he was selected for West Indies A and scored 206 runs in 3 games against India A side. Yet to make an international appearance for the senior side, the 26-year old was named in the West Indies Test squad for the series against Sri Lanka in November 2021.

After waiting for almost 7 years to receive an opportunity to play for his country at the highest level, he would be looking to replicate his domestic performances at the international stage to secure a spot in the red-ball team of West Indies.
