Izharulhaq's Bio

A crafty leg-spinner, Izharullaq Naveed is a professional Afghani cricketer who started his cricketing career playing age-group cricket and then went on to represent Afghanistan U-16 and U-19 levels.

Born and brought up in Kabul, Naveed featured for the Kabul Province’s U-16 and U-17 team and gradually progressed into the senior squad in 2019 at the tender age of just 16. He made his List A debut against Nangarhar Province on July 31st, 2019 and ended with the figures of 1/53 in 10 overs.

At just 18 years of age, Naveed was drafted into the Deccan Gladiators squad for the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 league and would be hoping to make an impact alongside some top-flight cricketers to earn a call-up to the Afghan national team.
