Bio
Kuldeep Yadav was drafted into the KKR team straight from the ICC U-19 World Cup in 2016 where he took a hat-trick against South Africa U-19. He was picked purely on the basis of talent and his skills to produce match-winning spells. Debuting in 2016, Kuldeep shone through in the next two seasons picking up 12 and 17 wickets. Kuldeep translated his talents into performance and earned an India call up and cemented his position as a frontline spinner in the Virat Kohli-led Indian team.
His performance dipped in the 2019 season and he managed to pick only 4 wickets from 9 matches and at an economy of 8.66 runs per over. KKR’s success hinges on Kuldeep’s wrist and how he manages to deceive batsmen with his flight and guile.
