Player Bio

Phoebe Antonia Franklin is an English cricketer who is well known for her solid style of batting, in the county circles. She is a Loughborough University alumna, currently playing for Kent and South East Stars, while she represents Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred.

Born in Greenwich, Franklin is a classical right-handed batter, but she can also bowl some occasional right-arm medium as well. She made her county debut for Kent, back in 2014, against Essex, aged at 16. As calendars turned, the talented youngster turned into a prolific player for the club.

The Greenwich-born was part of the Kent team that won the Championship and Twenty20 Cup double in 2016. She was also part of a successful Kent side that clinched the final Women's County Championship in 2019. The following year, she made her debut for the South East Stars in the inaugural season of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

In 2021, a talented Franklin penned a deal with Birmingham Phoenix for the inaugural edition of The Hundred, where she shared a dressing room with Amy Jones, Shefali Verma, and Kirstie Gordan, which would surely allow her to take long strides in cricket.
