Born on September 01, 1996, in the beautiful city of Nelson, Adam John Leonard is a New Zealand-based cricketer who bats and bowls right-handed.
Adam was born in a cricketing family as his father, David John Leonard, played a handful of First Class and List A games for Central District during the early 90s and took over 100 FC wickets.
Adam Leonard started playing cricket from a very young age and got picked by the Nelson team when he was just seventeen for the Hawke Cup. The talented right-arm bowling all-rounder's skills were best suited for the shorter format. He went on to represent Nelson at school and college level for almost five years.
In 2018, Wellington roped Adam, and he has been around the team for almost four years, giving some outstanding performances for the Wellington A side. He is yet to make a breakthrough into the Wellington main eleven but looks on the course.
Middlesex has picked up the 25-year-old Kiwi cricketer as an overseas player for the 2022 edition of the Vitality Blast contest, and he will be rearing to make the most of this opportunity in shaping his cricketing career.
