Player Bio

A prolific middle-order batsman, Khurram Shahzad is a professional cricketer for the Qatar national team who has recently been signed by the Quetta Gladiators squad for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) which is to be held in UAE.

Shahzad was named in Qatar’s squad for the 2017 ICC World Cricket League division five tournament in South Africa and featured in the opening fixture against the Cayman Islands on September 3, 2017. Shahzad made his senior debut for Qatar in a T20I fixture against Uganda on February 12, 2020, and didn’t get the opportunity to showcase his skills as Qatar won the game comfortably by 40 runs.

Shahzad’s dream came true when he was signed by the Quetta Gladiators squad for the remaining season of PSL due to the unavailability of top-flight players.
