Bio
A specialist seam bowler, Liam Connor Norwell is a professional English cricketer for Warwickshire County. A product of the Gloucestershire Academy, Nowell made a surprise move to the Edgbaston in 2018.
Norwell burst onto the domestic scene in 2011, making his debut against Derbyshire in the Championship fixture on April 8th, 2011, and surprised everyone with a maiden five-wicket haul on his debut. He picked up 6 for 46 but a stress fracture of the back halted his early start to the career.
Norwell suffered a freak hamstring injury at the end of 2016 and made a relishing comeback stockpiling 59 wickets in 2017 ending one of its finest seasons. With a strong track record from eight seasons at Gloucestershire and a burning desire to take his game to the next level, Norwell made the move to Warwickshire signing a three-year contract with them.
Having racked up over 300 domestic wickets in the domestic circuit, Norwell still has 5 decent cricketing years and he would be hoping to make the most of them.
