Player Bio

A teenage prodigy, Phoebe Litchfield is a professional Australian cricketer for the Sydney Thunders. A quality middle-order batter and a handy leggie, Litchfield has already proved her fearless approach in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). She has played 26 matches in the last two seasons for the Thunder.

Litchfield made her WBBL debut, at just 16 years of age and scored 26 off 22 deliveries. In just her second match, she became the youngest cricketer to score a WBBL half-century. Hailing from Orange, Litchfield has also represented Australia A and was named in the Ponting XI.

Having already cemented her spot in the Thunder’s squad, the 18-year old would be hoping to improve on her performance to earn a callup from the Australian national side.
