Player Bio

Katie Maree Mack is an Australian cricketer who plays for the ACT Meteors and Adelaide Strikers in Australia and represents Birmingham Phoenix in 'The Hundred' in England.

Mack started as a talented leg-spinner in her early teens. However, she moved from the premiership-winning Bankstown Sports club to Northern District. That move from the Sydney-born developed her as a player, as a result, her batting has come along in leaps and bounds.

Mack rose through the ranks and emerged to become one of the top 15 batters in the Sydney Women’s Grade competition for both 50-over and T20 cricket. Two years later, the talented batter migrated to represent the ACT Meteors in the WNCL, as per the NSW Breakers program.

Over the years, Mack has provided her services to Strikers and Melbourne Stars in the Women's Big Bash League. The impressive batter started donning Adelaide’s blue jersey from the WBBL|5, before being the club’s second-highest run-scorer with 846 runs, when she was only behind the Australian captain Meg Lanning.

In 2021, the Australian penned a deal with Birmingham Phoenix to play in the inaugural edition of The Hundred, where she shared the dressing room with Amy Jones, Shefali Verma, and Evelyn Jones, which surely has taken her game a notch higher.
