Josephine's Bio

An exciting wicket-keeper batter, Josephine Dooley is a professional Australian cricketer for the Melbourne Renegades who joined the Reds after spending a season with Brisbane Heat.

Dooley arrived at the domestic circuit in 2018 making her debut for Queensland in a 31-run loss to the Western Fury. She spent time with the National Performance squad and earned her maiden Women’s Big Bash League contract ahead of the 2018-19 season. The 21-year old made her WBBL debut against Perth Scorchers in December 2018 and went on to win the title with the Heats.

Prior to the start of the 2019-20 WBBL season, Dooley signed for the Renegades and has cemented her place as the wicket-keeper, a position already occupied by Beth Mooney at the Heats.
