Player Bio

A former Melbourne Stars all-rounder, Lisa Griffith is a professional Australian cricketer for the Perth Scorchers Women’s side. She announced her arrival in the domestic circuit a decade ago for New South Wales and later joined Western Australia ahead of the 2021-22 Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL).

After 5 years of break from cricket, Griffith returned back and was signed by the Sydney Thunders for the third edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and after three seasons with cross-town rivals, she joined the Sixers. Prior to the start of the seventh edition of the WBBL, the 29-year old was drafted into the Perth Scorchers.

Griffith skippered NSW Breakers in the five WNCL matches including a final loss to Western Australia. A genuine all-rounder who bowls medium pace and can bat anywhere in the top to middle-order, she is a gem of a cricketer and has wealth of experience after getting her first taste of professional cricket more than a decade ago.
