Player Bio

Bridget Patterson is a dashing batter, who plays for the South Australian Scorpions and Adelaide Strikers. Apart from being a murder of the ball, Patterson is also a gun fielder and has been associated with the Adelaide-based franchise since the inaugural edition of Women’s Big Bash League.

Born in South Australia’s Kingscote, Patterson, in her childhood, used to play cricket against boys and credits that experience for her rise in women's cricket. The dasher made her domestic debut for South Australia in the 2012-12 season.

But her breakthrough season came, in the final of the 2015-16 WNCL, when Patterson scored 76 helping New South Wales' 10-year grip on the WNCL trophy.

Later that year, the Kingscote-born signed a contract with the Strikers and has been with the club since then.

In September 2018, Patterson achieved her maiden century for South Australia, scoring a player-of-the-match-winning 109 off 131 balls in a WNCL game.

Since her WBBL debut, the aggressive batter has been a consistent performer for her team. She once kept the wickets which shows her passion for the game and her versatility.
