Bio
Anthony Bramble is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for Guyana in the West Indian domestic competitions.
A right-handed wicket-keeper batsman, Bramble is a former Under-19 player who made his first XI debut for Guyana in the 20110-11 WICB Cup. After two years of hard work, he finally got a chance to make his first-class debut for Guyana in the 2012-13 Regional Four Day Competition.
The following season proved to be a pivotal year for Bramble. He scored his maiden first-class fifty during the 2013-14 season, a fine knock of 64 against the Combined Campuses and Colleges.
In 2017, the doughty keeper-batter scored his maiden first-class century against the Leeward Islands in the 2017-18 Regional Four Day Competition.
In 2019, Bramble was named in the West Indian squad for their T20I series against India. However, he did not feature in any of the matches.
A classy player with an eye for quick runs, Bramble has been a bit unfortunate with his cricketing career so far. He has amassed runs heavily over the years but has not received the opportunities that he deserves.
