Player Bio

A left-arm medium-pace bowler who just loves to hit the deck hard, Rumman Raees is a professional cricketer who has played at the international level.

Over the years, Pakistan has produced some terrific fast bowlers and Raees has found a way to stand out. He came to prominence during the 2016-17 Pakistan Super League season and was quickly fast-tracked by the selectors.

His breakout season came during the 2017-18 PSL season, where he scalped 12 wickets in seven matches and was one of the star performers throughout the tournament.

Raees made his senior debut for Pakistan in a T20I game against West Indies in 2016. He did not pick up a single wicket in the match but bowled an economical spell of 10 runs in just 3 overs to tighten the screws on the scoring rate.

A year later, he was omitted from the Champions Trophy squad but was later called in as a replacement midway through the tournament. Eventually, the speedster made his ODI debut for Pakistan in a crucial semi-final game against England. He took 2 for 44 in the match, which included the crucial wicket of Alex Hales.

The Karachi born pacer played his last ODI game for Pakistan in 2018 and since then has been ignored by the national selectors.
