Bio
A composed middle-order batsman, Yasir Ali is a professional Bangladeshi cricketer who featured for the Tigers in the 2014 U-19 World Cup.
Ali made his first-class debut nine years ago for the Chittagong division against Barisal Division in December 2012 and has been grinding numbers continuously since his arrival at the domestic stage. An emerging cricketer, Ali was named in the 2018 Emerging teams Asia Cup and later that year he was drafted for the Chittagong Vikings team in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Ali finally got his opportunity after 7 years to represent the Tigers in an international fixture when he was named in the ODI squad in the Tri-nation series but unfortunately, he wasn’t selected in the playing XI.
The Chittagong-born has been travelling with the national squad for over two years now but hasn’t been able to cement his place in the playing XI. A true grinder, he has been putting an extra yard in training to make it into the squad and cement his place in the rejuvenated Bangladesh national team.
